HERITAGE The idea for Uzurii was born in Brazil, where founder and creator Shieglee Ferreira dos Santos has her roots. As a poor girl living in the slums of Brazil, Shieglee didn’t have the means to own her own pair of flip-flops. She had to find other creative ways to make the old flip-flops on her feet look nice and more fashionable, by using little stones and colored threads she found in the streets. Through her young life Shieglee always had a strong inspiration for fashion and style that was innotvative even through she was very poor growing up. Uzurii is her way of giving back to the world’s stylish hearts who long for high quality fashion accessories at an affordable price.
