PRE-TRAVEL CHECK (1) • Insurance coverage. UT International Registration / travel insurance https://www.utwente.nl/en/study-abroad/practical/; • Vaccinations: Check what you need for your destination at the GGD/Travel Health Clinic. https://www.ggdtwente.nl/contact/contact-met-reizigersadvies • BuZa Country color code check: Are you allowed to travel? https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/reizen/reisadviezen • Visa check: Do you need a short stay visa to enter and/or recommendation letter needed from the UT? • Health infrastructure check: Who is your port of call for assistance in case of a health emergency

PRE-TRAVEL CHECK (2) • BuZa registration: Note your presence at your destination with the Dutch government via registration at consulate or embassy. https://www.government.nl/topics/embassies-consulates-andother-representations • Mobilty Online: Make sure your travel dates are correct, and leave an emergency contact in Mobility Online • News outlets: Follow the national, regional and local news of your destination country for at least from the moment you have decided to go abroad. This helps you avoid areas where political rallies and areas of demonstrations are held. • Modes of transport: Ask you host for safest forms of local transportation in destination country
