Levine alumni have enrolled in graduate, professional and medical school at Columbia, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, New York University, Oxford, Priceton, Stanford, UNC Chapel Hill, University of Pennyslvania and many more.
The four-year scholarship includes full tuition, room, board, books, mandatory fees, an $8,000 service grant and funding for four summer experiences. Beyond the financial award, Scholars also benefit from:

Nomination: Before you can apply, you must be nominated by your high school counselor or submit a self-nomination. There is no limit to the number of students each high school can nominate. If you are homeschooled, you can be nominated by a professor or teacher as long as they are not related to you. The nomination portal opens on August 15th.
Apply to UNC Charlotte: Students must submit a first-year admissions application by the first deadline. Visit admissions.charlotte.edu to learn more.
Apply to the Levine: Once nominated, you will gain access to the Levine supplemental application. Students should complete Section A of the application immediately so that emails can be sent to those individuals who will be writing letters of recommendation. The entire supplemental application including three essays, at least two letters of recommendation, and an activites list must be submitted online by the deadline.

Our scholars are engaged in the world around them and eager to leverage their talents and interets into tangible results. We seek smart, motivated, community-focused leaders who will utilize every available resource and opportunity to reach their full potential and enrich every community they touch.

WHAT WE DO
Civic engagement is at the core of the Levine Scholars Program. Through a strong commitment to ongoing volunteerism, internships with local nonprofits, grant projects with community partners, and customized curricula, Levine Scholars graduate fully prepared as curious intellectuals, thoughtful leaders, and compassionate humanitarians.
In past academic years, Levine Scholars have provided nearly 800 hours of community service a month within the Greater Charlotte Region.
Levine Scholars have studied on 6 continents and in 60 countries.
HOW WE DO IT
Each summer, Levine Scholars embark on life-changing adventures that allow tham to examine their identities, redefine their communities, and explore their personal and professional interests. Summers are tailored to match each individual Scholar and are generally themed as follows:
