WY INTUITION SENSIBILITY ACCURACY
Born in 1973 in Germany, Ulrike Wyrwoll soon discovers her passion for art and mathematics. At 18 she begins her studies of architecture in Karlsruhe and Florence, completing them in 1999 with specialization in building construction. During the years of study she collaborates with various architectural studios and artisans in Germany, discovering her passion for the executive work. From 1999 to 2002 she works with Prof. Pietro Giorgieri and Prof. Massimo Carmassi in Florence. Since 2002 she is associate partner of WYDA.

Passionate designer, architect and visual artist, Arcangelo Gabriele D'Alessandro is born in 1973 in Italy, developing already as a child a strong passion for creative work. In adolescence he realizes hundreds of drawings and oil paintings, at 18 he signs up at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. In 2001 he completes his studies of architecture at the Ateneo in Florence. During his studies he collaborates with various architectural firms in Italy and abroad, working as assistant at the Department of Urban Planning of Prof. Giorgieri. Since 2002 he is associate partner of WYDA.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES MMOSA is born from a long and intense research, conducted by Arch. Arcangelo D'Alessandro and his team of professionals of visual arts, on Open Source softwares and the possibilities of their use for the production of artistic and multimedia content.The educational project offers a series of courses for the learning of open source softwares on a professional level. MMOSA will appeal to all the people who have to do with creativity in general and who may benefit of the instrumental and economic vantages, basing their activities on the use of softwares released under GPL license, so freely downloadable and usable.
THEMATIC AREAS The educational courses are divided in subject areas ranging from design to production audio and video. These thematic areas are currently integrated into the project MMOSA:
Architecture/Design
This thematic area aims to teach architects and designers how to develop their own projects, from the concept, through the communication of the project, up to the rapid prototyping through the use of CNC machines.
Video Production
This thematic area aims to teach how to produce professional video content. The route includes learning techniques for the production of all content (audio, video, virtual, motion tracking etc.) necessary for the packaging of the project.
Audio Production
This thematic area aims to teach how to produce professional audio projects from the simple acquisition of analog content, up to the publication of professional musical projects.
MMOSA MULTIMEDIA OPENSOURCE ACADEMY Publishing
This thematic area aims to analyze the main methods actually used for publishing (web, printing, e足books etc.), teaching the students to produce publishing contents of various types.
VFX
This thematic area aims to teach the techniques and technologies needed to produce virtual content, from photography to post virtual effects on video, up to motion graphic.
SOFTWARES All training courses will be performed with the exclusive use of software licensed under GPL.
