Please include name of business in the subject line. Town & Gown Magazine is not responsible for the printing quality of low-resolution photography, logos, or any errors embedded in digital camera-ready ad files. Town and Gonw Magazine does not own rights to submitted material.

Customer-Supplied Ads

Billing and Payments

All accounts are due and payable by the 10th day of the month following publication. Accounts exceeding 30 days past due are subject to 1.5% service charge (18% A.R.P). Accounts exceeding 60 days past due will not be allowed to advertise until account is brought to a current status.

Specs For Camera-Ready Ads Formats

Town & Gown Magazine accepts PDF or EPS file formats. When submitting a PDF, please be sure to embed all fonts. Not embedding all fonts could result in undesirable printing problems. If submitting an EPS file, please convert all text to outlines if possible.

Typography

All text should be typed no smaller than 8 pts. If using Adobe Illustrator, please convert all text to outlines before distilling to a PDF or saving as an EPS. Black text will need to be 100% and not process black.

Color

Extreme highlights and shadows will print with unfavorable results. This is avoidable by making sure all highlights have some color information. 5% black is sufficient for extreme highlights. Extreme shadows should be lightened 15-25%. Likewise, gradients should not fade to 0%. All color ads must be submitted in CMYK format. Town & Gown Magazine uses a 20% dot gain. Town & Gown Magazine prints at 100 lpi. All images should be submitted at 300 dpi or higher.

Submitted Ad Material for Design

All designed advertisements by Town and Gown Magazine are copyrighted and property of Town and Gown Magazine. Advertisers can request an ad designed by Town and Gown Magazine for an additional cost. Advertiser cannot use ad in other publications or for any other advertising purposes.

Logos and Line Art

Logos and line art should be high resolution: 300 dpi or higher if submitted digitally. If hard copy material is submitted for our artists to scan, please provide largest art possible, up to 8 1/2 x 11.

Digital images are preferred. High quality print photos can be scanned, but Town & Gown Magazine respects copyrighted materials. If infringement is suspected, the material may be rejected.
