Deacon’s NOTE

In all three Synop c gospels Ma hew, Mark and Luke, the story of the Transfigura on occurs in the same context, and that context is significant.

Today’s verses are in the middle of the Gospel account and things have been building up to a climax. As the disciples spend more me with Jesus, as they hear what he is saying and see what he is doing, they must have been asking, “Who is this Rabbi to whom we have a ached ourselves; who is this Jesus?”

Do you some mes ask yourself, who is this Jesus too?

God Bless. Deacon Ron Maida
