We look forward to seeing everyone's holiday decorations! Just a quick reminder that once the holidays have passed, holiday lighting and decorations must be removed within two weeks after the holiday concludes.
Parking: If you are parking your vehicle(s) in the street so your children can play in the driveway, please do not leave your vehicle(s) in the street after dark. All vehicles are to be parked in the driveway or the garage.
Pet Reminders: Please be considerate of your neighbors if your dog is outside and barking after 10 p.m.
Submission Tips: For tree removals and replacement, the Modification Committee needs a photo of the tree to be removed. If you are submitting a landscaping plan, please include a rendering of the plan, as well as pictures or a list of the new plant material that you want to install. The rendering can be done either by you or by the landscaping company you are using.

Empty Nesters Trivia: Do you know the capital of Australia? While you look it up (we Nesters were not able to use our handy cell-phones) that was just one of the nasty, little trivia questions that diabolical emcee Jack Ofsharick had in his bag of tricks for the October meeting. Jack and his wife Gerri were the co-hosts for this fun evening! The categories were as entertaining as the questions, with the first category being “Irritating Lawyer Commercials”. The Empty Nesters split up into teams of 6 or so players each. The team names were creative, including the “Brain Deads”, the “Halloweenies”, the “Buckeyes” and “Six Fillies and a Stud”. The questions got tougher as the night progressed (and the answers got even funnier, with some occasional help from the BYOB’s among the audience). Here are a few more that stumped the group: What are the three smallest states in the U.S. (in terms of land mass)? 2) What year did the first astronaut or cosmonaut go into space? 3) What is the longest river in the continental United States? (careful on that one!) The winning team was the Buckeyes, just edging out the Brain Deads. The winners received giant Hershey bars and congrats all around. Want to join us? The only requirement is that you have no dependent kids at home. Single or married, we’d love to have you join us each month in the Meeting House for great food and friendship. 2023 Neighbor of the Year Nomination The Advisory Committee is accepting nominations for Reunion Neighbor of the Year. Reunion is a neighborhood of good people willing to help their neighbors and their community; therefore the IDEAL candidate would be: An individual or couple giving back to he Reunion Neighborhood. For example, this could include volunteering to help at various Reunion functions, membership on one or more Standing Committees, and/or supporting Reunion by attending its sponsored functions and activities. An individual or couple giving to their individual neighbors. For example, this could be demonstrated by helping a neighbor in a time of need (meals, pet sitting, transportation, etc.) ‘house watching’ when a neighbor is traveling, or afterschool childcare when there’s a scheduling conflict, etc. Current members of the Advisory Committee are not eligible for nominations.
