However we remain passionately committed to supporting artists and making dance accessible to audiences. We have re-opened our building Scotiabank Dance Centre with thorough safety protocols in place, and artists have been adapting their projects to follow public health guidelines. Our 2020–2021 season looks somewhat different of course, as we seek ways to adapt and keep artists and audiences safe. Most of our fall events will be online, but we hope to resume live events for small audiences soon, complemented by digital streams. Residencies and research programs will run all season, with online showings and other specially curated digital content. As we proceed cautiously and stay flexible, I am confident that together we can continue to nurture the art of dance. Please remain connected with us, keep dance in your life - and stay safe.

I hope you are keeping well in these difficult and unprecedented times. As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially challenging for dance, an art form which requires bodies and spaces to work in, and like all arts organizations we have seen a major impact on our revenues which seems unlikely to be remedied soon.
