This new season is momentous for another reason: our home for dance, Scotiabank Dance Centre, celebrates its 20th anniversary! What began as a dream so long ago is now a vibrant arts hub. It provides essential high quality studio space, but more than that, it is a stimulating environment that supports the creative potential of artists, bringing together people from all walks of life. It has had such a tremendous impact on our city, on BC and on Canadian dance as we connect to the international world of dance too.

I am so happy to bring you news about our 2021-2022 season, in which we hope to finally resume sharing dance with audiences in person! Throughout the pandemic we remained passionately committed to our mission, supporting artists, sharing dance with audiences online, and operating our building safely.
