We are extremely excited to host each of you for this amazing sale. The consignors dug deep into their breeding programs to consign what we feel is the best group of cattle we have put together in many years. We were blessed to have the Eddie Wood Sale last year, but are thrilled to once again be a part of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. The Stock Show offers a great opportunity to showcase our breed in front of the general public and other livestock enthusiasts. The sale is starting with some amazing heifers and you will find many elite cows throughout the sale. It is our goal to provide a group of cattle that will meet the desires of every breeder. The quality of cattle has never been better and we are proud that we have consignments from breeders who specialize in show cattle to the best horn genetics available. This sale is the first sale of the year and is also the largest exposure opportunity for our amazing Texas Longhorns, being a part of the historic Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth. We strive to bring all breeders together in an effort to utilize our talents and resources to market the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America and our amazing cattle to new buyers and the general public. We encourage all TLBAA members to participate in the Longhorn weekend. Please attend the Directors Meeting and the Annual General Membership meeting, along with the Hall of Fame and Year-End Awards Reception on Friday. You can also cheer on our youth at the TLBT youth show at noon on Sunday, January 16 in the Watt Arena. On Monday, January 17, in the historic coliseum the day begins at 9:00 am with the Open Haltered classes. They are followed by the Open Non-Haltered classes and the exciting Trophy Steers. SELLERS: Must be active members, in good standing of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are to be made payable to Lemley Auction Services. POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained by buyer until payment is made. CERTIFICATES: A TLBAA certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, excluding calves at side. HEALTH: Individual state requirements should be considered by bidders before purchasing. BREEDING GUARANTEE: Breeder guarantees are strictly between the individual consignor and the purchaser at the sale. All calves at side are given to the purchaser free and carry no guarantee. NOTICE: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder. PEDIGREES: The information on the pedigrees of the animals announced has been furnished by the seller.
