Official New York Knicks influx in the Key shirt

1976, our oldest son was about 1 1/2 and we were on vacation – camping to be exact. We drove out of the New York Knicks influx in the Key shirt so you should to go to store and get this Sierra Mountains and west to the California coast to see San Francisco before heading home to Southern California. My wife wanted to try one of the famous restaurants on the Pier in San Francisco. We went to a world famous Italian place on the pier and went in. Tourist area so no fancy dress code right? But not really. Now we were in boots, Levi’s and Pendleton Wool shirts, the baby was in little tiny boots and a one piece overall/jumper outfit. First we waited a bit to be noticed, then we waited more after they took our names, then we were led to the table right by the double doors used by the waiters going in and out of the kitchen – the worst table in most restaurantsthe “low rent” district. Another wait for them to “find” a high chair for the baby. Then even more waiting before our waiter came around and we were handed menus opened to the cheapest plain pasta dishes and were told they had a lunch special on Spaghetti and tomato sauce.
