These programs share the same ideals and goals of providing sound functional, phentopical correct cattle with strong maternal traits coupled with growth and longevity in mind. Their no-nonsense approach for the fundamentals of feet, fertility, soundness and disposition goes without saying. Their dam, Miss Moses 03X, is a true cornerstone female who is leaving her mark on the breed. Her first 3 sons are all working in purebred herds, her first daughter is the dam of Lot 3, and we calved out 3 full sisters to these 2 bulls in January and they are going to be cornerstone females themselves (they have plenty of milk with ideal udders) Last spring, we bred a group of cows to Climax and that is a pretty impressive group of calves. With their birth weights below 80 pounds along with how well Climax calved, I think that 9D and 12D could be considered strong candidates for the heifer pen.

This is a square hipped, sound made individual. He is a hairy, dark red son of United. United’s dam is one impressive individual and we felt that we needed to add her influence into our cowherd. We bred Salton to a few of our better cows to see what he could do and he did not disappoint. Dalton is a well balanced individual. He is smooth made, structurally sound and has adequate thickness. His mother is one of our oldest cows and she isn’t showing any signs of slowing down as she has another exciting bull calf on her again this year.

Here is a Sheriff son that closely resembles his sire. Longmire 4D has that same length of body and smoothness with a big square hip that maintains its stoutness down to his hocks. 4D’s pedigree is stacked with many of our top cows, starting off with the 2 donors, Nettie 23Y and 7037T. His mother is a cow that we have very high hopes for, she has a near perfect udder and is a daughter of the heavy milking powerhouse, 42R. Longmire possesses a low 77 pound birthweight and solid calving ease numbers , but I believe that his maternal attributes will prove to be his greatest asset.

Deuce is definitely one of the pen favorites. I love how this bull profiles. He has so much character to his head, neck, and shoulders and that style flows back to a big square hip. He has excellent rib shape and depth of rib and that carries through his flank and into his hind quarter. Being a Conspiracy son out of a Congo daughter, Deuce should sire females with excellent udders and lots of milk. A full brother (37B) sold in our 2014 sale to Norman Poitras.

You can’t help but be impressed by the amount of depth and rib shape this young bull has. This is a stout made bull that packs a lot of mass on a moderate frame. Our Conspiracy daughters are making very attractive cows with near perfect udders and they are beginning to be some of our top producers.

Our only complaint about 110P is that she only gave us one daughter. In 2015, we decided that we should flush her to get some more daughters out of her before she was gone. As luck would have it, we got 5 calves out of that flush, and only one heifer. Anyway, these are 4 solid bulls for your appraisal. They are all long bodied, high performance bulls with good depth and thickness. These bulls are regsitered as 7/8.

These 2 Crosby sons are very closely related. 17D’s dam (102Y) is a full sister to Conspiracy and Super Duty, and 2D’s dam is a daughter of 102Y. These bulls are also very similar in type. They are long spined bulls with decent thickness, big nuts, and excellent hair. A full sister to 17D just had her first calf, she has an excellent udder and judging by her stout little Sheriff heifer calf, she has plenty of milk.

Where to start here? formidable was our show bull this past summer and fall. he found a lot of friends out on the show road and placed very well every time out. he exhibits tremendous length of spine coupled with above average depth of body and flank. Machine is a bull that is impossible to miss if you come for a tour of McIntosh Livestock this season. This Cobra son is exceptional in his rib shape, powerful through that hip and when you get behind him, wow! He has that crazy awesome Cobra hair on him with a little white spot and snip on his face. We seriously considered showing this calf as we feel he deserved it, but as you know, you just can’t show them all. Not too sure what we need to say about this bull, his picture pretty much says it all! Contender is easily the biggest bellied bull in the pen. He follows that up with a very desirable shape to his hip with a nice sound set of hind wheels under him. Safe to say his two year old dam did a fantastic job with her first kick at the can! She is moderate in size and kept herself in great condition while still milking heavily. Her baby this year is looking very special already and we are excited to see how he will turn out. 5D comes from a very nice cow from our Pocahontas family that always gets the job done. She always weans a big, eye-appealing calf that gets noticed. This will be the fifth good bull that she has put through this sale! The only heifer she has raised was Vectors black full sister Goddess who was in our show string fall 2015 and was very competitive. Vector carries a strong EPD profile a ranks quite well on the calving ease and birthweight side of things.

Here is a bull that is a great representation of the type of cattle his sire NGDB 50A has produced for us. We purchased 50A from the Hoegl family a few years back and he has been a very consistent sire. 37D really catches your eye every time you enter the bull pen. He has been the top pick black bull by many that have toured through. If Broadside were staying at home he would definitely be put to use in our heifer pen. Sired by the Cobra bull. Gutshot is a bull I’ve watched all summer and throughout the winter. He is sired by the Protocol bull that i bought from Crossroads Unfortunately he was injured at the end of his first season so the four bulls I have in the sale are all that I have. This deep sided bull is one of the first bulls to be noticed in the pen by visitors and for good reason, he is a quiet bull that has the presence of a herdbull. You have to admire him for his soft made easy doing look and when you stand behind him you will notice his rib shape and overall thickness. Another Protocol son here, I sure wish I wouldn’t of lost his sire after seeing the four sons in the sale. 69D is a very easy fleshing, soft made deep sided bull with a large set of testicles. I believe if this bull were the same age as his brothers he would be a feature bull in my offering. I think he would do well crossing on a set of Charolais cows adding some good maternal traits. A couple of years ago I had a black blaze faced Broker bull that was sold to Calvin Laschowski. I was fortunate enough to get a few cows bred to him before I got him delivered. Leading off my fullblood this year will be this good son of Philosophy. I have liked the makeup of this bull since he was born and at times considered keeping him to use in my herd. 6D comes off a really good radar female who did an excellent job on her first calf. 6D and his dam represented myself in the two year old class at the Turtleford fair this summer and did well there. With an 80 pound birthweight and acceptable performance, this bull could work in a variety of situations. He commands attention when you enter the pen with his cherry red color and good hair. His picture is very accurate of what this bull is all about. A bull I’m proud to bring to town for appraisal.

You can’t help but notice this bull when you walk in the pen. He is as dark red as you can make them with big wrap around goggles and black hairs mixed throughout. 7D is off of a cow that is dark red and is a cow that expects a scratch every time you walk by. A modest birthweight, acceptable performance and an eye appealing bull make this bull one to check out.

Another interesting Diesel son here, this polled Fullblood is very similar to my top Fullblood last year that is working in the good herd of Suter Simmental. Talking with Curtis he says the bull worked very well and has kept his condition, I expect the same for this bull. 53D is solid red with a money stripe down his face. Large testicles and length of body are 2 things you notice when analyzing this bull. Look for him to take some horns off while keeping the calf crop uniform in color. A bull that should be looked at sale day.

A big long bodied Radar son. This bull ranked #1 at weaning with an actual weight of 940 in the first week of September. The 6T cow has put bulls in the sale the past two years going to Wayne Fleming and Don Cole. She is an excellent uddered Evan female that always keeps her condition but still does her job. This bull will help add some frame and performance to his calf crop.

A good colored Philosophy son here that comes off one of if not my pick of Curtis’ Fullblood cows. Her bred heifer is at the top of her group this year and has calved and is a hard milking two year old. This bull has the color we all want and is a long bodied bull with good hair. He is a good quiet bull that is easy to handle.

A big rugged Diesel son here who would be sure to give some big heavy steers. A bull that catches my eye in the pen with his natural thickness and strong top. One of the younger bulls in my group but stands right up there with the rest. Commercial guys help yourself here. I think he would work on a good cross section of cows.

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
Bidding...
Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.
Announcements...
All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.
Breeder’s Guarantee...
All bulls sold are guaranteed breeders by the owners. We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull. Should any bull fail to be an unsatisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit will be given toward the purchase of another bull. If you have a problem with your bull please notify us immediately. Under no circumstances will the seller be liable for more than the purchase price of the animal.
Exception Guarantee...
In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.
Certificate of Registration...
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Simmental Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
Liabilities...
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
Rights and Obligations...
The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
Phone, Mail, Wire Bids...
Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, mail or wire their bids and instructions to the sale managers, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
Delivery...
We will assist in arranging transportation wherever possible. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. $100 rebate on bulls taken home sale day. Bull must be insured by buyer.
Insurance...
Will be available sale day. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.
Errors...
All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supercede any written material in the catalogue. The seller reserves the right to draw semen from any bull in the sale for in-herd use only. The collection will be at the purchaser’s convenience and the seller’s expense.
