Ancient treasures, organic forms and sacred relics imperfect and marked by history inspire my work. I create in a playful, intuitive way using the lost wax method to transform gold, silver and gemstones into talisman jewellery to be treasured and passed through the generations.

What to expect: As well as a friendly welcome, visitors will see new work, sketchbooks from my Shrewsbury Museum commission, inspiration box of artefacts and a box of my Great Grandfathers' jewellers tools – he was also a jeweller and had his workshop in Hatton Garden, London.

My paintings are inspired and informed by the landscape immediately surrounding my studio. I work mostly in ink, watercolour and acrylic, in a semi abstract way; from sketches and photographs gathered on my walks around the valley.

My artwork explores the landscape of fairytales, a small portal for you to catch a glimpse into the 'Otherworld'. Inspired by late 19th century illustrators, and folktales of the North, my artwork is often described as ethereal and delicate.

What to expect: At my cottage garden studio you’ll find a warm welcome, and of course original paintings! There will be 'works-in-progress', prints, cards, demonstrations and opportunities to 'have a go'. If weather is fine, a children's drawing table in the garden. Drinks and snacks available.
