Softball was the first sport that I fell in love with, but not the first sport I loved. Figure skating was my first love, but I quickly fell in love with softball after playing my first game. When I was 7, I played my first softball game, and being a good catcher, first base was the position I gravitated to and enjoyed playing. I was eventually asked to pitch one game, but since I had never pitched, I was scared that I would embarrass myself, so I declined.

THE ONTARIO

BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION GIRLS SEASON IS HERE After all the drills, practices, scrimmages, tournaments, and league games the Ontario Basketball Championship season is already here. Our U11 and U12 girls both had amazing seasons and played hard in their OBA Championships, and we are rooting for our U15 and U19 girls as they get ready for their tournaments. Our Jr NBA program is getting rave reviews from our newest young girls and their parents as they learn the game, gain core skills, and gain a love for the game. We look forward to welcoming these and other new girls to our ever-expanding KWGBA Wildhawks program.
