Why do some people feel so bad and we feel so good? We don‘t know either. But we do know that others have to struggle with hunger, homelessness or flood disasters, while we lack nothing. We at SIP Scootershop have a job that we enjoy, we have enough free time to work on our scooters and we always have a few euros left over for a pizza and a beer. The pictures of the floods in East Germany in 2002 and in Asia in 2005 deeply moved all of us here, which is why we also spontaneously decided to make a donation. And that‘s when the idea of SIP-Aid was born. What is behind it? We want to donate a part of our earnings to charitable causes. We regularly donate a not insignificant amount to SOS Kinderdorf e.V., ARCHE Germany, Humedica or the Red Cross, to name but a few.

Little Max, 5 years old, is suffering from leukaemia. The shock diagnosis is accompanied by everyday worries: his mother can‘t start her new job because she has to go to the clinic regularly. There are considerable travel and fuel costs, and the instalments for the house have to be paid on time. To The Ukraina

We in Germany celebrate Christmas in a peaceful country. Ukraine has been attacked by Russia for more than 300 days. The pictures from the front but also from the bombed cities move us. We are glad to be able to make at least a small contribution to humanity and peace with food donations. A team from Landsberg drove with our Sprinter deep into the Ukraine and handed over food donations, power generators and warming shoe insoles.

2023: SIP DONATES 3.000 € TO HUMANITÄRE HILFE E.V.

JANUARY

For many years we have been supporting the association Humanitäre Hilfe e.V., led by Landsberg cardiologist Dr. Soeren Gatz. Here, a number of retired doctors are not improving their handicap on the golf course, but the health care system in Cameroon and Tanzania. Without organizational overhead, with a lot of heart and commitment, the help arrives on site where it is most urgently needed. Our donation will be used for the purchase of a transesophageal ultrasound probe, which will benefit the monastery hospital St. Benedict In Ndanda /South Tanzania. Using this methodology, doctors examine the various heart chambers and vessels as well as heart valves from the esophagus: There are only a few millimeters between the esophagus and the heart, so

157.232 razor-sharp images of the moving heart and its structures are created, which greatly improves diagnostics. Dr. Gatz will personally hand over the device on February 14, 2023 and offer a special course Transesophageal Echocardiography for the local doctors to have this modern and now indispensable technique also available in southern Tanzania.
