Definitions

The following terms are used throughout this document

Viewer refers to the Issuu document viewer.

A layout descriptor is an XML document that specifies the user interface for the Viewer using the Issuu Markup Language (IML).

A skin library is a file containing graphics used for skinning the Viewer.

A skin is a graphical item within a skin library.

Skinning refers to the application of skins to interface elements in the Viewer.

A theme is a package consisting of a layout descriptor and optionally one or more skin libraries.
