LA LUCE (THE LIGHT)
La casa colonica al centro della proprietà conferisce il nome alla vigna. Il Cru si caratterizza per le piccole vallette particolarmente scoscese. Le grandi rocce affioranti si alternano ai terrazzi sorretti dai muri di pietra e si caratterizzano per il particolare colore tendente al bianco, dato dal quarzo, che aumenta considerevolmente l’energia solare che qui raggiunge la temperatura e la luminosità più alte della zona. Carattere fruttato e grande struttura caratterizzano questo vino.
The farmhouse gave the name to the vineyard. The CRU is characterized by small valleys with very steep slopes. Large outcropping rocks alternate with terraces supported by stone walls. The rock has a particular colour tending to white (quartz) which considerably increases solar energy, making higher temperature and stronger light intensity than in other areas of the Valley. Thanks to these features, the sun’s rays increase the light and the heat. It has fruity character and great structure.

LA ROCCIA
MADRE (THE MOTHER ROCK)
La vigna Sassorosso poggia su un promontorio isolato rispetto al versante della montagna, completamente eroso dal ghiaccio nel corso dei secoli. Il suolo qui è roccioso, con notevoli infiltrazioni di microelementi a base di ferro che conferiscono il tipico colore rosso. Il sottile strato di suolo obbliga le radici della vite a svilupparsi direttamente sulla roccia madre, dando vita a un vino dai tannini fitti e setosi.
Vigna Sassorosso is a promontory isolated from the side of the mountain, which over the centuries has been completely eroded by ice. The soil is rocky with high infiltrations of iron-based microelements, which give the typical red colour. The thin layer of soil forces the roots of the vines to develop directly on the mother rock, giving life to a vivid ruby red wine with dense and silky tannins.
