Nestled amidst the breathtaking alpine landscape, Morteratsch campsite offers its guests a combination of contemporary infrastructure, safety, comfort and heartfelt hospitality. The area includes two crystal-clear mountain lakes, three mountain streams and light-flooded forests of Swiss stone pine and spruce. Here, guests can encounter squirrels, deer and even foxes while exploring the unique mountain world to their heart's desire – perfect for families.

The campsite's infrastructure features three sanitary buildings, a wellstocked store with fresh products, a restaurant, a sauna, a community room and a bus stop. Guests can choose from various camping options, including nine rental accommodations, 150 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, 90 VW bus spaces, and 110 tent pitches.

The immediate surroundings are ideal for hiking and bike tours and serve as a perfect base for alpine excursions into the Bernina Massif. "It’s an easy 90-minute hike to the Morteratsch Glacier," hosts Kathrin and Peter Käch say. "Water sports enthusiasts who find our mountain lakes too small will find all options on the Upper Engadine Lakes." Paragliding, cultural events and the UNESCO-protected Rhaetian Railway complete the offer.
