SOAR Day Collections Lady Eagles Soccer Team Fundraiser The Lady Eagles Soccer Team, in partnership with Funds2Go, is collecting gently used and new pairs of shoes. A fundraiser for the club, the shoes will eventually be sold by micro-enterprising families the world over. Over 70% of the global population uses repurposed shoes and clothing. Having access to sell this inventory is one of the most effective ways to lift families out of poverty in devastated economies. We will be collecting shoes at SOAR Day. Anyone who brings in 25 pairs (flip flops, boots, old tennis shoes, etc.) will receive one service hour.

Forrest Spence Fund Book Drive The Studies in Women's Literature Club will be collecting new books for children at SOAR Day. These book donations will benefit the Forrest Spence Fund, who recently lost their entire inventory due to fire damage. The Forrest Spence Fund seeks to assist with the non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families. The libraries they create within local NICUS and children's hospitals offers these brave patients a chance to escape their extremely challenging day-to-day lives. Help us help them! Donate a new book (crosswords and sudokos are very popular) at our table at SOAR Day.
