THE SOUND OF MUSIC COMES TO ST. BENEDICT STAGE

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. When a postulant (Maria) proves too high-spirited for the religious life, she is dispatched to serve as governess for the seven children of the widowed naval Captain Von Trapp. Her growing rapport with the children, coupled with her generosity of spirit, gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain, and they marry. Suggested by “The Story of the Trapp Family Singers,” THE SOUND OF MUSIC will be presented at the St. Benedict at Auburndale High School Performing Arts Theatre. Evening Performances are Thursday – Saturday, March 31-April 2 at 7:00 with a Matinee on Sunday, April 3 at 2:30. Reserved seats are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door while they last. You can call 260-2840 or visit www.sabeagles.org. for information.
