Southern African Women in Aviation and Aerospace

Endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority SA, Southern African Women in Aviation and Aerospace Industry (SAWIA) is a registered non-profit organisation (Reg # NPO 089-579) dedicated to the empowerment of women in aviation and aerospace. A key objective of the organisation is to meaningfully contribute to a more equitable representation of women at all levels in the southern African aviation industry. In order to achieve this, SAWIA aims to show young women from all walks of life, that aviation is an exciting and viable career choice for women.
