God gave me the victory and I vowed to help others with my voice,” said Lavonne. Lavonne has started a greeting card line to encourage others.

Tracy Chargois

Tracy Chargois has enjoyed a cup of coffee for many years; it was always a part of her Creole culture since she was a small child. As life would have it - she found herself spending less time with her parents. They were getting up in age and she was in search of something that would bring her closer to her family. She wanted to reconnect and spend more time with the ones that meant so much to her. She decided to create a time to talk. That simple concept of reconnecting, manifested into a dedicated time to meet for a cup of coffee. “It was our THING” She met with her parents every Saturday to share a cup of coffee and just talk. During the meet up time her relationship with her parents became stronger. The Saturday morning tradition continued for several years. Then….life happened again and her Dad was diagnosed with cancer. Even through his illness, the tradition of sharing a cup of coffee continued until his passing. By sharing positive messages she discovered her love for coffee cups and with the addition of positive quotes she still felt a connection with her dad. “It was my therapy! Everytime I posted a quote and a coffee cup - it reminded me of my Dad and all of the wonderful memories and conversations that were created over the years. It was my family connection” Tracy started to share quotes and her coffee cups with her social media family; again making coffee a connector. Since then she has been encouraged to breathe life into the concept of sharing positivity and her followers look forward to their morning boost of Tracy and Coffee Time. After sharing encouraging messages and her coffee cups for several years, Tracy decided to start her own coffee cup line. Positive Aspects Coffee Cups (Coming Soon) is born to continue her mission to encourage others and bring people together. IG @coffeecup.therapy
