Competition Teams are a popular way students hone in real skills and learn to work on a team. Our teams base their operations at the Branam and Kremer Innovation Centers (BIC&KIC) where they have access to workspace, teaching, tools, and machines.

Rose-Hulman welcomes students from around the world to study on our beautiful campus. International students add to the rich cultural and educational texture of the Institute.
The Class of 2026 brought to Rose-Hulman students from countries all over the world, including, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam.
Around 10% of our student body are international students, and last year we received applications from over 80 countries. The top five countries represented on campus are China, India, South Korea, Vietnam, and Nepal.
Transportation
At each scheduled break during the academic year, the Office of Student Affairs coordinates an airport shuttle service running from campus to and from the Indianapolis International Airport as well as the Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Many students do have vehicles on campus and help each other get around town. Ride services such as taxis, Uber and Lyft are also locally available.
