”CULTURAL IMPRESSIONS” 100 artists-100 countries-6 continents

OK Gallery Jl. Veteran no.76A Warungboto, Yogyakarta, Indonesia September 6-12, 2019

The Inter-Art Foundation propose a complex art exhibition dedicated to this generous topic: ”CULTURAL IMPRESSIONS”. I choosed this title because in my opinion each artist express an individual impression through his work regarding his own culture, a deep reflection of his ethnical identity. The exhibition suppose to be a various mixture of emotions, memories and feelings fixed together as a giant puzzle, a collective work of 100 artists. The project includes 100 art works from 100 artists representing 100 countries from all the continents. These works are from the foundation’s own collection, gathered during the years from different important art projects. This exhibition propose to be a traveling one, and we would like to bring it in as many countries is possible in the next years. We choose from each country an artist with international rate, who participated at the Inter-Art projects in the past. It is a great honor for us that the first stop will be in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and will represent the inauguration of the OK Gallery runned by Valentinus Rommy Iskandar, a well known international artist who is part of this project. After many important exhibitions in high level places like the United Nations Headquarters- New York, Palais du Nations-Geneva, European Parliament-Brussels, Woodrow Wilson Center-Washington D.C. the Inter-Art Foundation wish to propose this traveling project and show it everywhere in the world. Will represent an other great achievement –where the interculturality will underline the proposed message. This project will prove again the main purpose of the Inter-Art Foundation from Aiud, Romania: interconnection between nations and cultures, coexistence and cultural cooperation.” Stefan Balog Curator, President, Inter-Art Foundation-Aiud, Romania

First of all, we, OK Gallery-Yogyakarta, Indonesia and the Inter-Art Foundation-Aiud, Romania,, give thanks to God, thank all the committees who are tasked with the implementation of the CULTURAL IMPRESSIONS Intercontinental Art Exhibition. And we express our gratitude to the sponsors, media partners, supporters of the event, and the entire community who participated inour event. The assistance that has been given has had a great impact on the success of organizing our exhibition events. We understand that our collaboration may still have many shortcomings, but we will work hard to ensure that in the future it will be better so that nothing will hold us back from working together again. Valentinus Rommy Iskandar Chairman of the committee
