Born 1991 in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, I moved to attend Waseda University, Japan. When the big Tsunami of 2011 struck, circumstances forced me to relocate. Fortunately, I enrolled in The New School as a Design and Management major, and ended up in New York City. Inspired by the city and the creative industry, empowered through the design process, I am able to live life innovatively.

Born in Stockholm, studied and lived in Paris for three years and since fall 2012 been majoring in Design and Strategic Management at Parsons The New School of Design. Being an idealist and fighter of human rights, her constant search for truth and justice, is digging into depth and detail in order to address the problems from a 360 degree viewpoint, to find a powerful strategy to combat them and make the world a better place.

Born and Raised on the small island of Bermuda and moved to New York at the age of 16 to pursue her artistic talents at a specialized boarding school. Currently majoring in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design and will be graduating in 2014. Olivia is super passionate about non-profit and human rights issues and hopes to design and organize events and productions that help fight these on going world issues.

Daphne, now a junior at the strategic design and management program of parsons, opts to one day start her own business with a strong philanthropic aspect. Her diverse background, which is an amalgam of her greek heritage, her background in different fields of design, and her organizational passion forms an important addition to the team.

fix: the brand The team decided to name their brand FIX (after considering multiple options as shown below). This word was chosen to represent them because they wanted to highlight their commitment and ambition to help FIX each of the human rights issues they address through their collaborations and projects. The symbol FIX associates itself with is the arrow, as a symbol of progression and the surpassing of obstacles.

FIX is a non-profit creative firm fighting for human rights. Through periodically collaborating with different organizations across divergent fields within the human rights realm, FIX employs innovative thinking, thorough research, and envisions contemporary solutions to FIX the mirror image of what it means to be human.

the fix logo

After exploring and working on different logo interpretations for FIX, the team concluded on the logo above. It was picked because it best reflects the personality of the creative firm. It is contemporary, versatile, to the point, and encorporates the arrow symbol which FIX frequently uses to depict progression.

human rights defined: “Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status.
