It's the season for gatherings with the family, swimming poolside celebrations, and lazy time at the beach! A day of sunshine can be a wonderful way of bonding with the family, improving mood, and obtaining essential vitamin D.

However, it does not have any hazards. The sun's radiation exposes the body to ultraviolet radiation, also known as UV Rays. UV rays are inaccessible to the naked eye. They are defined by wavelength. Organic sunscreens

Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are known to have enough evidence of safety to be accepted as safe and efficient (GRASE) by the FDA, partially because the skin does not absorb them before entering the bloodstream.

For 12 of 16 sunscreen chemicals that are permitted to be used for use in the United States, there is insufficient information to allow FDA FDA to make comparable GRASE determinations. Particularly, there is concern over the oxybenzone ingredient and its potential to alter hormone levels and trigger allergic reactions.
