JOCKS AROUND SCOTLAND

NOTES ON….MANNING • Recruiting is good, and though we were -507 jocks at the start of the year, this should be at -300 by the end of this year. However, there is a current pause on inflow to ITC Catterick between Apr and Oct 2010. • There are limited opportunities for people to rejoin the Regiment, so individuals should be encouraged to apply through APC Glasgow

COLOURS AND HACKLES

Recruiting Surge. Look out for the Regimental Recruiting Team around Edinburgh and the Borders 19-26 Sep. Regimental Homecoming Concert. The Regimental Band will be playing to the public at the Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh on 22 Oct. Book your tickets on 0131 668 2019.

• New Regimental Colours will be presented to Battalions at Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh 28 Jun – 10 Jul 2011. BHQs will disseminate further details. • Our two TA Battalions are being presented new hackles this summer – 6 SCOTS will have grey and 7 SCOTS will have purple.

Members of the Regiment are encouraged to become a fan of the Regimental page on Facebook, where there is more information on events and links to information, such as dress regulations and history. Search for ‘RHQ The Royal Regiment of Scotland’
