It was founded on Oct 28th 1900 by Barcelona university students and belongs to a select group of ten clubs founders of the Spanish League. Throughout our history players such as Zamora, Di Stefano, Kubala, N’Kono or Lauridsen, have worn our glorious shirt. Additionally, our team plays in one of the most modern grounds (it was opened in 2009) one can find around the world. No wonder our stadium deserved the Stadium Business Award 2010 by eminent Guiness prizes. It is located only ten minutes from the Barcelona down town and the vision is breathtaking from any seat in the ground. Localidades en el estadio / Stadium seats El Estadio RCDE cuenta con una capacidad para 40.000 espectadores, cubiertos en un 95%, y está adaptado para el acceso de discapacitados. Lo forman tres anillos: inferior, superior y una zona intermedia Corporate y VIP. Además, cuenta con un centro comercial anexo en el que dispondrás de todos los servicios a tu alcance. Total capacity is 40,000 people out of which 95 % are covered seats and also ready to receive handicapped people. It is formed by three rings: lower, upper and a middle zone called VIP and Corporate. Besides there is a big shopping centre nearby where you can buy whatever you want as well as restaurants, cinemas, in short everything at your reach.
