Laboratory Our fully computerized laboratory provides investigative support for accurate diagnosis, assessing the severity of a disease, and evaluate the efficacy of the recommended treatment. Samples are collected by skilled technicians. The collected samples reach the Laboratory through Pneumatic tubes.

Thereafter, the samples are directed to specific sections viz. Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Hematology or Histopathology. The samples are processed under a stringent quality control environment and the test results are generated within 24 hours.

- The Biochemistry department is capable of handling 400 tests per hour and utilizes the latest dry chemistry technology. High-end tests like tumor markers, TORCH, hormone assays, screening tests for various diseases like thalessemia and drug assays are also carried out. Results of emergency tests for cardiac patients are available instantly. Tests include CPK, CPK-MB, Troponin, and NT-proBNP. - The Hematology and Clinical Pathology laboratories deal with various blood tests like cell counts, including peripheral smear,coagulation studies, HbA1c; and examination of body fluids like urine, stool and CSF. - The Microbiology department is equipped with the latest automatic machines for culture, identification and sensitivity of various bacteria, mycobacteria, viruses and fungi.
