The Cult boys were on fire at NOVA. Leading laps throughout the day and showing their style all the way, Doug Widdows and Vic Behm are BMX lifers.

Virginia is for BMX lovers and the BMXers definitely loved the track this weekend at the Battlefield Nationals at NOVA BMX. The track crew at NOVA worked very hard on the facilities, I’m sure that you saw the video. They enhanced everything from the new walls on the turn, to repainting the starting hill, and the work didn’t end there. The crew fixed every imperfection the track received throughout the weekend. They were also on point with the battlefield theme, going as far as bringing in a real cannon. The motos remained around 180 throughout the whole weekend and the weather remained nice, except from the sudden downpour on Friday before racing. The first turn was the place for action this weekend, if the wall around the turn wasn’t there many riders would have gone over. On the first day of racing at Battlefield Nationals at NOVA BMX in the Tangent Pro-Am- Women’s race the podium was Manuela Munoz Velez in first place, Sadie Herrera in second and Isabella Nelson in third. The Tangent Pro-AmMen’s Podium was James Cutter Williams in first, Tomas Correa in second, and Nolan Cardwell in third. On Saturday in the Tangent Pro-Am-Women’s race the podium was Manuela Munoz Velez in first, Sadie Herrera in second, and Mia Custer in third. The Tangent Pro-Am Men’s podium was Ruben Garcia in first, James Cutter Williams in second, and Cameron Moore in third.

In 8 & Under Girls Cruiser Ameila Dowdy won all three days. Sawyer Smith won all three days in 9-10 Girls Cruiser. In 11-12 Girls Cruiser Chase Burian won all three days. Camryn Searfoss won the first day of 13-14 Girls Cruiser, but Landon Burian won the next two days. Kylee

Neiderberger won all three days of 15-16 Girls Cruiser. In 17-20 Women’s Cruiser Chloe Kappen won all three days. Weston Hicks won all three days of 7 & Under Cruiser. In 8 Cruiser Depler Williams won the first two days, but on the third Brady Hudzik got a lead down the first straight and kept it to the finish line. Nine Cruiser had a different winner each day with Dylan Oklopcic getting the win at the line Friday, Joeseph Lataille winning Saturday, and on Sunday Mah’ki Jefferson took the win at the line. Jaxsyn Horne won all three days of 10 Cruiser. In 11 cruiser Max Menial won all three days. There was a different winner each day in 12 Cruiser with Declan Park taking the win Friday, Parker Westfall getting the win at the line on Saturday, and T’rie Huggins winning on Sunday. 13 Cruiser had a different winner each day with Logan Oudshoorn winning Day One after he pushed the previous first place rider up in the last turn, on Saurday Dorian Carreiro won, and Matt Badanik won the third day. Gavin Menditto won 14 Cruiser Friday and Sunday, with Mario Brattoli winning on Saturday. RJ Hancock won all three days of 15 cruiser. Max Marshall won the first two days of 16 Cruiser, but on Sunday JT Vrolijk took the win. Andrew Herrera won Friday and Sunday, but on Saturday Dallas Gardner won.

From 6 through 13 Expert Girls the same rider won every day starting with 6 Expert Girls – Joi Gonzalas, 7 Expert Girls – Charlie Gay, 8 Expert Girls – Maci Fry, 9 Expert Girls – Sawyer Smith, 10 Expert Girls – Hailey Smith, 11 Expert Girls – Chase Burian, 12 Expert Girls – Danica Appenzeller, 13 Expert Girls – Landon Burian. In 14 Expert Girls Mia Custer won Friday and Lily Sutherland won Saturday and Sunday. Sadie Herera won all three days of 15-16 Expert Girls. There was a different winner everyday in 17-20 Expert Women. On the first day Isabella Nelson won, Manuela Munoz Velez won the second day and on the third day Grecia Cristodulo, Chloe Kappen and Manuela Munoz Velez went into the first turn three wide and collided causing everyone except Cristodulo to wreck, resulting in Cristodulo taking the win. Katy Brink won 21-30 Expert Women on Friday and on the second two days Devin Murphy won. In 31-40 Expert Women

Hannah Huvard won all three days. In 41-50 Expert Women Jill McGuire won all three days. Cynthia Pappas won all three days of 51 & over Expert Women.

Chase Reynolds won Friday of 6 Expert and Sunday but on Saturday

Bowen Lindbery took the win. On the First Day of 7 Expert Luke Peaper won but on the last two days Weston Hicks won. Hutch Griffith won all three days of 8 Expert. In 9 Expert Wyatt Lindbery won on Friday, but Coye Weidner won Saturday and Sunday. Cody Young won the first two days of 10 Expert and Preston George won the third one. Eleven Expert had a different winner everyday starting with day one Chase Mountjoy won after pushing Max Meinel over the second turn. Max

Meinel won at the line on the second day, and Noah Williams took the win on the third day. Sean Lehew took the win on the first day of 12 Expert, but Wyatt Hicks won the second two.

Evan Douglass won all three days of 13 Expert. Chris Felker won 14 Expert on Friday and Saturday, but Tommy Bruney won on Sunday. Joaquin Salum won Friday in 15 Expert but in the last two days Zakary Kaiser won. Sean Nicosia won all three days of 16 Expert. In 17-20 Expert James Cutter Williams won all three days.

Yavant Hausler won the first day of 21-25 Expert and Kit Bjerk won the next two days. Layne Gainer won Friday and Sunday, but on Saturday

Nick Dawson won. In 36-40 Expert Brenden Looby won all three days.

Mathew Swap won Friday in 41-45 Expert and Greg Custer won the other two days. In 46-50 Expert Kirk Landeen Won Friday and Sunday but

Cory Skinner won on Saturday. Chris Kennedy won the first two days of 51-55 Expert and Drew Motley won

Caleb “CaSlay” Gassaway charged all weekend for the ZeroNine crew in 9x.
