This publication contains a collection of short essays that uses the project möte09 as a springboard to address some urgent topics in the art of choreography making, such as; marketing, audience as producers, encounters, the false and real, dichotomy of thinking/doing, cooperation as mode of production, responsability of the author, the immanent delay in writing dance, the “art of making art” and the momentousness of immaterial performance. möte09 (meeting09) was a choreographic project that consisted of four meetings ranging between seven to fourteen days and took place during the Spring 2009 in four Swedish cities: Stockholm, Göteborg, Umeå and Malmö. In total, 31 artists/theorists/practitioners from different fields were invited to investigate formats of meeting an audience/user.
