Probasi Executive Committee extends a warm Sharodiya Abhinandan to you all for our Virtual Durga Pujo 2020. This has been an extraordinary year for all of us due to the pandemic. In midst of this uncertainty, we are grateful that we can worship Maa Durga from our homes and be blessed by her Divine Grace. Our Virtual Pujo will be on Saturday October 24th which will be live streamed on Facebook. We are very proud to showcase our amazing local talent for an evening of virtual entertainment, on Friday October 23rd and another musical evening on Saturday 24th by Indian maestro, Sare Ga Ma Pa winner, playback singer, Debojit Saha ,who will be performing on Facebook live, exclusively for Probasi!

When growing up I was adored, indeed, but the pearl of the eyes were the brothers in the house, school, on the play grounds. Never could I enjoy the sunrise in the park alone. Mother cooked, I watched the younger siblings and the toys they used, Father played basketball with the boys until the food was ready, I set the table. Brothers got extra help to take math and sciences while I was persuaded to study arts and music as if with my tender fingers I was born to be an artist. Shaking your booty in the football field was always cheered on, but when you were raped or assaulted it was your fault -- your dress, your hills, your make-up -- the color of your lipstick. Bravo, when he fought around the school gym and for you, the naughty girl in tight jeans, teased, sometimes avoided, and forsaken to be asked for prom night. Eons have eloped, yet I see the shadows of the past in my backyard, on the street, or at work stand still, and I wonder, with all the progress, how far back we have gone?

She saw Scarlet’s good deed and casted a spell that will make her dream come true.When Scarlet figured out she had super powers , she thought to herself how many good deeds she could do.She put on the costume from halloween and found herself a fitting name “SUPER PUPPY”. Then on the other hand there was an evil fairy who found out about Super Puppy. She wanted to stay undefeated so decided to destroy the super puppy. When she saw Super Puppy , she ran as fast as she could towards her but instead she hit the wall which turned out to be a hologram.Soon she started melting.It turns out super puppy called the good fairy who casted a spell which turned the evil fairy to ice cream then super puppy with heat vision melted the evil fairy to a liquid form and no one ever bothered Super puppy/Scarlet ever again.

Thinking of You কেয়া রায় পুর�োন�ো বাক্স ঘাঁটতে ঘাঁটতে একটা greeting card খুঁজে পেল শিখা “ Thinking of You”। একজনের চেনা চেনা হাতের লেখা “তুমিই আমার সব, তবে আমি কি ত�োমার কেউ ?”। মনটা বেশ ভারী হয়ে গেল , চ�োখের দৃ ষ্টিটা কেমন যেন হঠাৎ ঝাপসা হয়ে এল শিখার —- পিনাকীর লেখা এটা, এত বছর পরেও চিনতে ক�োন কষ্ট হ�োলনা। কি জানি ক�োথায় আছে, কেমন আছে, সংসারী হয়েছে কি ! আর কখন�ো ওর সাথে দেখা হবে কি ? যদি দেখা হয় , তবে ওকে চিনতে পারবে কি না ? বড্ড ইচ্ছে করছে কিছু কথা বলতে, কথা শুনতে। সু ন্দর কবিতা লিখত�ো পিনাকী, আর এত দরদ দিয়ে বলত�ো যে সব বন্ধুরা খুব enjoy করত�ো। কানে বাজে ওর আওয়াজ —“ক�োথায় তুমি কখন কে জানে উঁকি দিয়ে যাও মনেতে । আমি দিশাহারা তাই পাইনা ত�োমায় দেখতে। ত�োমার সু রভিতে ভরা মাত�োয়ারা মন দুলছে যখন তখন সহসা ত্বরিতে মনের মাঝে যেন কথার ঝরণা জাগে কেন পারিনা তাকে চিনতে।” এত সু র, লয় দিয়ে ছন্দ করে বলত�ো এই কবিতাটা যে আজও কথাগুল�ো মনে আছে শিখার — আশ্চর্য !
উত্তর চক�োরী মিত্র সকাল বেলা উঠে তাড়াতাড়ি সব কাজ শেষ করেছে তরী। আজ সপ্তমীর সকাল। বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে ঘুরতে যাবে সে। বাগবাজারের ম�োড়ে সবাই আসবে। মধুমিতা, রঞ্জন, সুশান্ত, রিয়া। ভবানীপুর কলেজে ভর্তি হওয়ার প্রথম দিন থেকেই এরা সবাই তরীর ভাল�ো বন্ধু। তার আগে বেঙ্গলি মিডিয়াম স্কুলে পড়েছে বরাবর তাই কলেজের প্রথম দিনে বেশ চিন্তায় ছিল তরী। হঠাৎ করে "ইংরাজি" তে কেউ কিছু বললে উত্তর দেবে কি করে? যদি বাংলায় উত্তর শুনে অন্যরা হাসে? কিন্তু আস্তে আস্তে সেই পরিবেশের সঙ্গে ঠিক মানিয়ে নিয়েছিল, আর এই বন্ধুদের পেয়ে গেছিল�ো সে। প্রথমবার যখন বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে বেরিয়েছিল, পুজ�ো তে, সে এক অন্য মজা। বড় হওয়ার স্বাদ পাওয়া সেই প্রথম। তাই গত দুট�ো বছর সপ্তমীর সকালের আকাশ টা যেন অন্য নীল মনে হয়ছিল। তবে আজকের নীল টা আর�ো অন্য নীল। আয়নার সামনে ভাবতে ভাবতে একটু চ�োখ টা নেমে গেল�ো; মুচকি হাসল�ো। এই অনুভূতি টাও এবারে নতুন। তাই তাড়াটা আজ একটু বেশী। ঝটপট তৈরি হয়ে বেরিয়ে পরল�ো তরী। লেকটাউন থেকে বাস ধরে স�োজা শ্যামবাজার। পাঁচ মাথার ম�োড় থেকে ওইটুকু হেঁটে নিল�ো। প�ৌঁছে দেখল�ো সবাই এসে গেছে। বাগবাজার স্ট্রিট ধরে হাটতে লাগল�ো সবাই মিলে। সবাই কিছু না কিছু ষষ্ঠীর গল্প বলছে। সে সকালের সাবু মাখা থেকে রাতের লুচি ছ�োলার ডাল...... ক�োন�োটাই বাদ পড়ার জ�ো নেই। তরী একটু আনমনা। সুশান্ত লক্ষ করেছে, কিন্তু কিছু বলছে না। একটা সময় সুয�োগ পেয়ে হাত ধরে সরিয়ে নিয়ে এসে জিজ্ঞেস করল�ো, "কি রে, বিরিয়ানি না চাইনীজ?" "হ্যাঁ!" হকচকিয়ে গেল প্রথম টা তরী। চ�োখে একটু রাগ দেখাল�ো। সুশান্ত একটা অবাক হওয়ার ভান করে বলল�ো, "লে ভ�োমরা খীর খা, চ�োটছিস কেন�ো! এত সিরিয়াস ভাব দেখে আমি ভাবলাম তুই জরুরি কিছু ভাবছিস। তাই ভাবলাম হেল্প করে দিই। দেখ এত ভাবার কিছু নেই, ওই সাইমা-র বিরিয়ানি খেয়ে পেটে মুখে চড়া পরে গেছে। will try for something else, like Chinese or something বাঙালী।" তরী কি যে ভাবছিল, আর এখন সেই ভাবনা যে ক�োন ম�োড়ে দাঁড়িয়ে, সব ওলট পালট হয়ে গেল�ো। 'আরে এই ছেলে টা পেট দিয়ে ভাবে না কি!' দাঁত করমড়িয়ে বলে উঠল�ো, "ত�োর থেকে আমি হেল্প চেয়েছি! এখন�ো ত�ো সকালের পুঁটিরামের কচুরির ঢেকুর তুলছিস। পেটটাকে
একটু রেস্ট দে না। ওই যে জলজিরা পাওয়া যাচ্ছে ওখানে, এই বেলা শুধু ওটা খা।" এক নিঃশ্বাসে, গলা টা একটু চড়িয়েই কথা গুল�ো বলল�ো তরী, তাই বাকিরাও এবার ফিরে তাকাল�ো। "কিরে ত�োরা আবার কি নিয়ে শুরু করলি!" মধু বলে উঠল�ো। রঞ্জন আর মধু ব্যস্ত ছিল রিয়ার হবু বরের গল্প শুনতে। এই ডিসেম্বরএই বিয়ে। রিয়া বেশ এক্সসাইটেড। মধু আর তরী বুঝিয়েছিল�ো ওকে, " দেখ, এত তাড়াতাড়ি বিয়ে করিস না। graduate হয়েই বিয়ে করিস না। কিছু পড়াশ�োনা কর আর�ো নয়ত�ো একটা চাকরি। আরে কিছু ত�ো করবি! বিদেশ যাওয়ার জন্য বিয়ে করতে হবে কেন এত তাড়াতাড়ি! ছেলে কি শেষ হয়ে যাচ্ছে বাজারে!" শ�োনেনি রিয়া। রিয়া সবসময় বাবা-মা র বাধ্য মেয়ে। ওর একটা বিশ্বাস আছে বাবা-মা যখন বলেছে তখন সেটাই ঠিক। তাই বাবা-মার সিদ্ধান্তই ওর সিদ্ধান্ত। মধুমিতা আর তরী ২জনেই সেটা মেনে নিতে পারে নি। গত এক বছর যাবৎ মধুমিতা জানে ওকে একটা চাকরি শুরু করতেই হবে, না হলে রঞ্জন কে দাঁড়ান�োর সময় দিতে পারবে না। রঞ্জন এক বছরের সিনিয়র ওদের থেকে, পড়াশ�োনায় ভাল�ো; তবু সময় ত�ো দিতে হবে! ওদের ২জনের ব�োঝাপড়াটা সবসময়ই ভাল�ো। TCS-এ একটা চাকরি পেয়ে গেছে মধু রেজাল্ট বের�োন�োর এক মাসের মধ্যেই; আর বাড়িতেও জানিয়েছে। বাবা যখন রাজি হয়নি, তখন বলেছিল বাইরে গিয়ে থাকবে কিন্তু চাকরি ছাড়বে না। পরে মেনে নিয়েছিল সুব্রত, মাধুমিতার বাবা। মেয়েটা পুর�ো ওর মত�োই হয়েছে এক র�োখা; হেসেছিল পরে মনে মনে। তরীর তাই রিয়ার গল্প শুনতে ম�োটে ভাল�ো লাগে না, ও তাই আনমনা হয়ে অন্য কথা ভাবছিল, আর তখন-ই সুশান্ত বেটা দিল�ো সব কেঁচিয়ে। সুশান্ত ওকে রাগাতে খুব ভাল�োবাসে, এই যে রাগ টুকু দেখিয়ে তরী নিজেকে একটু হালকা করবে, সেটাই সুশান্তর নিজের। ও জানে তরীর জীবন-ভাবনা বা মানসিকতা অনেকটা অন্যরকম; সেটার সঙ্গে মানিয়ে নিয়ে নিজেকে গুছিয়ে নেওয়াটা সুশান্তর কাছে "কঠিন জীবন"। তাই এই খুচর�ো পাওয়া গুল�োই যত্ন করে রেখে দেবে মনের এক ক�োণে।
রঞ্জন আর রিয়ারও জিজ্ঞাসু চ�োখ, 'কি বাধল�ো আবার এরা'... তরী তখন সবার চিন্তার অবসান ঘটিয়ে উত্তর দিল�ো, "কি আবার হবে, সারাক্ষন খাই খাই করে চলেছে। আরে আমি একটু ভাবছিলাম...." আর কথা বের�োল�ো না তরীর। রঞ্জন আর রিয়াও 'সুশান্ত উদ্ধারে' নেমে পড়ল�ো, "আরে পুজ�োয় বেড়াতে বেড়িয়ে না খেলে; বেড়িয়েছি কেন�ো! কি খাব�ো না খাব�ো অবশ্যই জরুরি আল�োচনার বিষয়। তা কত দূর আল�োচনাটা এগ�োলেরে সুশান্ত? by the way তরী; পুঁটিরামের দই বিখ্যাত কচুরি নয়। নামটা নতুন শিখে চালিয়ে দিলেই হল�ো!" তরী আর থাকতে না পেরে হেসেই ফেলল�ো, এই সব বন্ধুরা যেন ছ�োঁয়াচে র�োগের মত�ো হাসি ছড়িয়ে দেয়। গম্ভীর থাকার জ�ো আছে ! এই সব রাগা-রাগী হাসা-হাসি করতে করতে প�ৌঁছে গেল বাগবাজার সার্বজনীনের সামনে। সবাই মিলে প্যান্ডেলের দিকে যাওয়ার সময় অনেক ল�োকের ভিড়ে একটু ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে গেল�ো। তবে প্রথম বারের মত�ো এবারে অত�ো চিন্তা নেই। সবার কাছে এই বছর ম�োবাইল ফ�োন আছে। তরীর কেমন যেন একটা লাগছে, "এই মধু; ভেতর টা কেমন ঢিপ ঢিপ করছে রে ".... মধু জানে তরী কেন আনমনা ছিল এতক্ষন। গতবছর "Umang"-এ প্রথম আলাপ; তরীর আর রন�োর। গত সাতআট মাস যাবৎ একটু একটু করে গড়ে উঠেছে....."কি" প্রশ্ন করেছিল একবার মধু তরী কে কিন্তু তরী বলেছিল, "জানিনা রে, এটা কে ভাবনা বলব�ো, না টান বলব�ো। বন্ধুত্বের উর্ধে ক�োন�ো একটা জায়গা, যার নাম হয়ত�ো এখন�ো দিতে পারিনি। তবে এত সহজে কি ভাল�োবাসা বলা যায়!" তবে জেনেছে যে রন�ো-ও কিছু ভাবে ওকে নিয়ে। র�োজ ফ�োনে কথা আর মেসেজ করা হয়। একে অপরের র�োজনামচা বেশ ভাল�োই নখদর্পনে। রন�ো এখন মাস্টার্স করছে ইক�োনমিক্স-এ। বয়সের তফাৎ খুব বেশি কিছু না। এই বাগবাজার সার্বজনীনে ও বেশ এক্টিভ। তরী কে বলেছে আলাদা করে আজ আসতে, ও অপেক্ষা করবে। তরী প�ৌঁছে ফ�োন টা বার করতেই রন�ো সামনে এসে দাঁড়াল�ো, যেন অপেক্ষায় ছিল এতক্ষন। মধু ব�োধ হয় আগে লক্ষ করেই সরে গেছে। এই বিশেষ করে দেখা করতে চাওয়া টাই কেমন যেন উতলা করে তুলেছে তরীকে। "কতক্ষন বেরিয়েছ? কটা ঠাকুর দেখা হল�ো?" রন�োর স্বাভাবিক থাকার চেষ্টা। "এই ত�ো এটাই প্রথম", মনে সাহস নিয়ে উত্তরের সঙ্গে আর একটা প্রশ্ন জুড়ে দিল�ো তরী, "তুমি যাবে কি আমাদের সঙ্গে ঠাকুর দেখতে, এই ত�োমাদের কাছাকাছি যে কটা ভাল�ো ঠাকুর আছে...." "উমম"....কিছু একটা ভেবে বলল�ো রন�ো,"হ্যাঁ যেতেই পারি তবে বিকেলের আগে ফিরতে হবে, সন্ধ্যে বেলা আমাকে ভলিনটিয়ারের ডিউটি করতে হবে।"
সল�ো তরী, মনের মধ্যে কেমন একটা হালকা হাওয়া বয়ে গেল মনে হল�ো। এই কথপ�োকথনের এক মুহূর্তও; ওরা একে অপরের থেকে চ�োখ সরায়নি। ওই চারটে বাক্যের মধ্যে কথা তেমন ছিল না, কিন্তু চ�োখে চ�োখে কিছু যেন আদান প্রদান হল�ো। তরীর আগে মনে হত�ো এসব টিভি সিরিয়ালের ন্যাকাম�ো, কিন্তু আজ যেন তেমন-ই কিছু একটা হল�ো। তারপর সকলে মিলে গ্যালিফ স্ট্রিট ধরে হাটতে হাটতে কুম�োরটুলি, আহিরীট�োলা, বেনিয়াট�োলা দেখে ফেলল�ো হেঁটে হেঁটে। মাঝে একবার শুধু দুপুরের খাওয়া দাওয়া। রাস্তা পাড় হওয়ার সময় একটু হাত ধরে খেয়াল রাখা। এমন পুজ�ো আর কখন�ো কাটেনি তরীর। ভাবছিল তরী। হঠাৎ প্রেসারে সিটি পড়ল�ো। ঘ�োর কাটল�ো, পুজ�ো বাড়িতে যাওয়ার আগে রান্না শেষ করে যেতে হবে। ওর বর পুজ�ো বাড়ির নিরামিষ রান্না খাবে না, তাই রান্নাটা শেষ করেই চট করে তৈরি হয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়বে তরী। ওর বর সায়ন বিকেলেও যাবে কি না সন্দেহ, শনিবার হয় ত�ো ঘরে রিলাক্স করেই কাটিয়ে দেবে। অত�ো হৈচৈ ল�োক জন ওর পচ্ছন্দ না। ওই বছরের পুজ�োটা হঠাৎ করেই মনে পড়ল�ো আজ তরীর। বিদেশে পড়তে আসার পরীক্ষা দেওয়া হয়ে গেছিল�ো তখন। তবে জনত�ো না সুয�োগ টা পেয়ে যাবে। আমেরিকাতে পড়তে আসার আগে রন�োকে জিজ্ঞেস করেছিল, তরী,"আমি যাব�ো কি? তুমিও চেষ্টা কর�ো না, যদি phd টা ওখানে পেয়ে যাও"; রন�ো মুচকি হেসেছিল, আর বলেছিল�ো, "বেশ ত�ো আগে তুমি যাও-ই না! আমি ত�ো পালিয়ে যাচ্ছি না। তুমি ত�ো আসবেই। আজ ত�োমার বদলে আমি গেলে কি ত�োমার মনে এত দ�োটানা থাকত�ো? আমাদের সমাজ অনুযায়ী ওটাই ত�ো স্বাভাবিক মনে হত�ো; তাই নয় কি! কিন্তু তাই বা হবে কেন তরী! এটা ত�োমার স্বপ্ন; তুমি লালন করেছ এতদিন ধরে, তারপর নিজের চেষ্টায় তা অর্জন করেছ। খ�োলা মনে যাও। মনে আছে সেই ডিবেটের কথা? ছেলে মেয়ের মধ্যে বুদ্ধিমত্তায় বা সাফল্য অর্জনে যে ক�োন�ো ভেদাভেদ নেই তা ত�ো তুমি বলতে, সেই শুনেই ত�ো প্রথম আকৃষ্ট হয়েছিলাম আমি। তাহলে আজ কেন বিশ্বাস করতে পারছ�ো না?" আর কথা বারায়নি সেদিন তরী। কিন্তু একটা আলাদা জায়গায় রন�োকে বসিয়েছিল। কিন্তু সমস্যা শুরু হল�ো কিছু বছর বাদে যখন তরী আস্তে আস্তে দেশে ফিরে যেতে চাইল�ো না আর। রন�োকে বার বার চলে আস্তে বলেছিল তরী, ও জানত�ো রন�োকে ঠিক সাপ�োর্ট করতে পারবে। কিন্তু রন�ো চাইল�ো না। ক�োন�ো কারণও বলল�ো না, হঠাৎ সব য�োগায�োগ বন্ধ হয়ে গেল�ো। gmail-এ কথা হত�ো তখন, ফ�োন-এ অনেক খরচ। তবু তরী চেষ্টা করেছিল অনেক য�োগায�োগ
করার। শেষ পরীক্ষার পর, যখন চাকরি টা পাকা হয়ে গেল�ো, দেশে ফিরল�ো তরী, ' রন�োকে ব�োঝাবই, আমি ওর হাত ধরে টানলে কেমন না আসে দেখি!' একটা অদ্ভুত আস্থা ছিল নিজের বিশ্বাসে। কিন্তু ফিরে এসে ক�োথাও খুঁজে পেল�োনা মানুষটাকে। বন্ধু-বান্ধব, ভাই-ব�োন যাদের সঙ্গে অল্পশত আলাপ হয়েছিল, কেউ-ই কিছু বলতে পারল�ো না। তরী বুঝেছিল; যে মানুষ ধরা দিতে চায় না, তাকে ধরাও যায় না....... এসব কথা আগে যখন শুনেছে তখন 'ব�োকা ব�োকা' মনে হত�ো। কিন্তু আজ বুঝছে সে। ছুটি শেষ হয়ে আসছে, এবার না ফিরলে হবেও না। নতুন চাকরি, তাকে অবহেলা ত�ো করা যায় না। আর রন�ো-ই ত�ো বলেছিল নিজের স্বপ্নকে সার্থক করার দায়িত্ব আমার-ই। ফিরে এসেছিল তরী। কিন্তু একটা উত্তর তার পাওনা ছিল। সেটা তার অধিকার।
সময় বয়েছে, বাবা-মার ইচ্ছে তে বিয়েটাও সেরেছে। এখন সে থাকে North Carolina-র Charlotte শহরে। সায়ন এমনি তে খ�োলা মনের মানুষ, ক�োন কিছু তে ওকে বাধা দেয় নি ক�োনদিন। এখানে বাঙালিদের দলটার নাম 'প্রবাসী', আজ একদিনে সপ্তমী-অষ্টমী পুজ�ো। তাই সকালে হঠাৎ করে ক�োথা থেকে মনের ভিতরে যত্নে রাখা পুর�োন�ো মনি মুক্ত গুল�ো ঝলমলিয়ে উঠল�ো। ফেসবুক হওয়ার পর সবার সঙ্গেই আবার য�োগায�োগ হয়েছে।মধু-রঞ্জন বেশ আছে; রিয়া এখন লন্ডনে থাকে। আর খাই খাই সুশান্ত ভাল�ো চাকরি করছে, কিন্তু বিবাহিত জীবনটা খুব শান্তিপূর্ণ নয়; তরী ওকে বলেছে, "ভাল�ো নেই ভাবলেই ভাল�ো না থাকা। 'ভাল�ো আছি' ভাব তাহলেই ভাল�ো থাকবি"। শুধু একজনকে খুঁজে পায়নি। তাই আজ-ও মনে হয় একটা 'উত্তরে' তার অধিকার ছিল।
My Favorite Birthday My favorite birthday was the one I had at Flour Power. All my friends were invited to my birthday. We met the chefs, One of the chefs told me to say what we were gonna cook. I told my friends we were making pizza and ice cream sundaes! Me and Friends made the dough with the chefs. The chefs told us to roll the dough. The chefs put the dough in the oven. My friends waited for five minutes. While we were waiting we got to make ice cream sundaes! The pizza crust was ready and we got to put the topping. It was cake time. Every body was ready to eat cake. My mom made an EIsa and Anna cake. I made a wish on the candles. Then I blowed all of them out. Everyone clapped. All of my friends wished me Happy Birthday, I was very happy.

If you get affected, you have to be hospitalized and you have to do quarantine at home.” But Ma Durga told I already tied my mask so as not to get affected and I didn’t forget to take my sanitizer bottle with me. She appeared on the first day of Navaratri and started fighting with Corona. She promised to herself she will show her woman’s power. When people on earth saw Ma Durga fighting they started singing,” Jago Ma, Jago Durga.“ Bengali people
started singing,”Jago Durga, Jago dasho proharoni dharini, Abhaya Shakti, Balaprodayini tumi Jago”. Listening to this prayer song Ma Durga was encouraged very much. The deadly fight went on nine days. In the heaven all the gods were very much afraid of watching this kind of fight, they were trembling to think what will happen!! Everyone in earth is praying for Ma Durga’s victory. Durga was fearless and fought with Corona for nine days. Corona had not seen such fierce woman before. Finally, Corona became very tired in this war, she became really afraid and told Ma Durga, “Discover the vaccines, I will definitely go away forever.”

to fly in. If there was a wind storm school would be canceled. Next it was math time. They learned that half an owl plus half an owl equals one full owl. Then it was reading time, so she read “One Owl, Two Owl, Red Owl, Blue Owl”. Then, they went outside to recess, ate lunch, and went home on the bus. She thought “What will I do at home?” Then she had it. When she was getting off the bus, she ran over to Papa and said “I love you papa!” Then Papa asked “Did you enjoy school?” “Yes! I loved it!” “I’m glad,” said Papa. “It’s morning, so go to sleep fast.” “Okay. Goodnight Papa.” “Goodnight Twinkle.”

My name is Sameeran Nasipuri. I will tell you about three major events of my life. I think there will be a lesson that will only be revealed at the end. So let's start from the start. The first major event takes place at my preschool. My mom and I were driving to my preschool, named Assurance. I thought my mom would have stayed with me in the school. Boy, was I wrong! I wouldn’t let go of her for a second when the teachers tried to make me let go. Then, finally, I lost grip. The principal took me around the school and showed me every single place. You know what, I eventually calmed down. I also met my best friend in preschool, Mathew. Mathew and I were really very close friends. We always did things together. The first time we met we argued over where a toy train should be. But then, we came to a solution. We placed it somewhere random. That was the start of the friendship. I didn’t really see him after preschool ended. It was nice knowing him. There are a lot of other events such as plays, a fire truck, and more, but I figured it would take too long. So I made it shorter because there are still two more passages. The next major event takes place in the Smoky Mountains. My family and I were driving in one of the forests there. Then all of a sudden, we stopped. My mom and dad went out of the car. I looked left, there was nothing. I looked right. Then I saw it. There was a black bear feeding her cubs. There were at least four cubs. They all looked cute. I stepped out of the car. One cub was climbing up a tree not too high. Everyone was taking selfies, pictures, etc. Then a cub saw everyone and alerted the other cubs. The cubs ran in every direction possible. This made the mom very, VERY, angry. She went out on the road and looked at everyone with a look saying “Who should I attack first?” Everyone ran to their cars and started their engines. They all drove away very fast. We also drove away as fast as we could. There was also another reason why the bear cub alerted the
rest. The bear cub heard a random kid yelling something. They were just going crazy for no reason. So that's another reason why this happened. This event could have been peaceful, but “ OH MY GOD, IT’S A BEAR A BEAR”. If you could hear me laugh I would go into tears right now. Time for passage numero tres`. This event is at a ski resort. My dad, mom, and I went to a ski resort. We ate lunch at Wendy’s. I got to eat a whole whopper. Then we continued. My dad had already bought skis at a store ever since I think he was 24. BTW, this was in January right before the pandemic. So he was going to try and teach me. The first half of the time I was terrible. I couldn’t even keep my feet in balance. It wasn’t good at all. Then my dad said “Go take a break with mom”. So I did. The lady at the snack counter was very kind to me. She told me of a juice that was new to me and said to try it. So I did. Guess what? It was amazing! So I thanked the lady. While I was taking a long break, my dad was on the grown up’s hill. Then he came to get me and continued teaching me. All of a sudden on the first try, I made it. It was unbelievable. I actually skied. I did it 10 more times. I felt very proud of myself that day. Then my dad was very proud, too. After the tenth time, we went home. I think my theme should be... Whatever life throws at you, funny, bad, good, you have to catch it. Or else what kind of life is that? There should always be challenges. Everyone can show resiliency if they try. Right now, we are dealing with a pandemic. We can fight it by working together. Maybe Maa Durga might come and kill the Covid-19 Asur with her mighty trishul. Many more things can happen. That is what life is. It’s all those things and more. Including life with Misty my cute kitten, who by the way deleted my doc by jumping on the computer the first time I wrote this. 15
