Katherine Schad

Katherine Schad’s contemporary, floral and abstract paintings are bursting with color. From butterscotch blooms and coral mums to spiritual themes such as enlightenment, belonging and authenticity, her work is uplifting and inspirational. Photographers Sky and Leah Emerson take magnificent shots of breathtaking landscapes and wildlife in the Sierras, particularly in Lake Tahoe. Their photos have a rustic quality to

them and are presented on metal prints, canvas wraps and fine art prints. “Virtually all my paintings have water included in the subject, noted watercolorist Alain Fastre, who has traveled the world to capture the oldest lighthouse in Ireland, a river in Holland, a marsh in Belgium and tranquil Carmel by the Sea. He uses a palette of soft, soothing colors.

Sculpture and Mixed Media Inspired by interesting creatures of land and sea, Shawn Tsai transforms glass rods into mesmerizing sculptures. His shimmering collection includes colorful fish, tropical turtles, prancing horses and symbolic dragonflies. Mixed media artist Erik Nelson is known for his contemporary art. He uses industrial, construction-based materials including metal, latex paint, shellac varnish and tar. A self-described Bohemian Beatnik who grew up in Pacific Grove, Erik loves to incorporate collage and he prefers soft earth tones. “My paintings are to be experienced, not explained, he said. Nobe Babayan’s bronze sculptures have

a deeply sensitive, spiritual quality. He enjoys expressing himself through his art and noted that his sculptures of people and animals bear an unmistakable imprint of his imagination.

Just in time for your next summer soiree, Michael Frazier builds his timeless redwood furniture in his Sun Valley shop. His timeless designs have been sent to many countries, including the Royal Palace in Egypt and a castle in London. They also have been spotted in movies including Kindergarten Cop and The Patriot. John Reiger is a potter and a poet. His floral ceramic dishes, clocks and butter dishes emit a tranquil quality. “Someone once said that being an artist is like being yourself for a living,” he said. “So here I am, slowly potting my way through a good life. It’s a hard way to make a living, but a wonderful way to live a life!”

FACEBOOK COMMUNITY MUSIC STAGE MUSTACHE HARBOR creates a Soft Rock Explosion the likes of which has not been seen since Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Ace, Kenny Loggins and The Little River Band ruled the airwaves and created AM Gold. CHICAGO THE TRIBUTE is a group of nine accomplished musicians that beautifully recreate that all-time great sound of Chicago with powerful horns, rich vocals and a rockin’ rhythm section. THE FLAMING O’S are the Ultimate Party Band. How many bands do you know that can seamlessly go from a Journey tune to a Katy Perry tune, from Adele to Bon Jovi, Bruno Mars to Led Zeppelin, Gwen Stefani to Aerosmith or from Pink to Queen? The NEW AMERICAN VILLAINS play great classic and modern rock songs with a twist. Guitar. Lap steel. Mandolin. Stylophone? Banjo? They cover all-time greats like The Beatles, The Who, Neil Young, Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Radiohead and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. JACK MOSBACHER’s sound spans the gulf between the full-throated soul of Sam Cooke and Solomon Burke and the big hook sensibility of the modern

“We worked with Colleen to sell our home in Menlo Park. We were demanding clients and Colleen proved to be a truly outstanding partner in this process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy a home in the area.
