At our rotomoulding facility in North Somerset our kayaks are made using high grade materials, crafted by a dedicated and skilled team. Moulding for over twenty years, we specialise in small batches of kayaks built to last.

The anticipated Voro sit-in and Koa Duo sit-on models will be on the water in 2023. Alongside the popular Koa sit-on, these kayaks mark out the future path for Islander – clean and simple design, with quality components. The additional Atoll colourway broadens the choice.

Lash points

Islander kayaks have moulded in brass inserts for attachment of handles and lash points. These fittings are fully watertight, and keep the boats adaptable and durable.

Dual density hatches

Several models in the Islander Kayaks range are fitted with dual-density rubber hatches. A hard centre holds the shape and protects against implosion, and the softer compound outer makes a watertight seal on the boat.

6″ hatch

Some models feature easily accessible hatches for items likes snacks or sunglasses. These watertight hatches feature a pull out bag so items are easy to find.

This optional extra low profile backrest is made from thermoformed foam with a reinforced back section. It attaches to your boat's D-ring attachment points with corrosion resistant steel clips, mounted at four points for stability. The backrest angle can be adjusted.

Power your paddle

A good paddle makes for a better on-water experience. The Drift paddle from Palm Equipment is durable‚ light and great value. Choose from a simple aluminium shaft, a glass fibre shaft or an adjustable one that can be split in two pieces that is easy to transport and store.

This seat is made from thermoformed foam with a contoured seat pad and a reinforced back section. It attaches to your boat's D-ring attachment points with corrosion resistant steel clips, mounted at four points for stability. The seat angle can be adjusted.

Stay safe on the water

The essential piece of safety kit for everyone. A personal floatation device (PFD), or buoyancy aid, will give you the confidence to paddle, swim and explore. Certified to ISO safety standards – Palm Equipment have PFD designs for the whole family, like the Meander women’s PFD and Quest kids’ PFD.

Proven tough plastic

Dagger Europe kayaks are moulded in HDPE plastic because of its unrivalled strength to weight ratio, abrasion resistance, and durability. We use only the highest quality components including corrosion-resistant brass inserts, 100% stainless steel nuts and bolts. Each kayak is pressure tested and checked for thickness in over twenty places. Models with skegs are water tested. Every Dagger kayak goes through quality control after moulding, fitting and before packaging.

Our plastic commitment

The Dagger UK factory is part of Operation Clean Sweep, an international programme to control plastic waste materials and to keep them out of the environment. Since 2011 we have recycled all the waste material from our rotomoulding and thermoforming kayak production and re-use this in recycled kayaks and parts. We collect and recycle offcuts and swarf created during the fitting process and in-bound bagging for the plastic material is recycled.
