Miguel Avataneo Argentinian painter, Miguel Angel Avataneo, was born in the province of Cordoba, Argentina and his love of the pure form of classicism was nourished by his early interest in the Italian masters. He was also greatly influenced by the late eighteenth century French paintings of David, Gustave Courbet and Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres. Building on the discipline it gave him, he has created a world of pictorial imagery entirely his own.

Solomon Bobela Solomon was born on the 28th May 1950 in Alexandra Township, South Africa. After completing his schooling, he went to on study at the now-legendary Rorkeâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Drift missionary art school in Natal where he obtained his diploma. After a number of difficult years caused by political turmoil in South Africa, Solomon was offered a position as Junior Lecturer at UCLA, in 1988 which he could not accept due to the political turmoil. Solomon continues to output work prolifically in woodcut, linocut, oils and pastels.

David Freeman David Freeman was born in Calcutta, India, in 1961, and moved to Britain in 1978. After graduating college in 1981, he set up his own studio in London. Claude Gaveau Claude Gaveau is a French painter born in Neuilly-sur-Marne in 1940. Passionate since very young about painting he entered the School of Applied Arts of Paris in 1955 where he studied mural art for five years: stained glass, tapestry, mosaic and fresco. In 1960, he studied at the National Superior School of Fine Arts of Paris where he practiced painting with oil and pastels, lithography, and gouache. He is also inspired by music and lyricism.
