Revolución de Cuba began with a team of rum lovers, who knew that taking on this spirit meant capturing it. Raising the question, could the spirit of the island of Cuba really be brought to life in food, music, cocktails and the people’s experiences - absolutely! In 2016 Revolucion de Cuba Glasgow opened its doors with the fiestas, events, Christmases, corporate network, and la familia growing in size ever since.

Customers should expect to be transported from the streets of Glasgow City Centre right into the heart of Cuba. As you step into our venue you will notice a change in decor matched with our latin inspired music, giving you the holiday feels. Pair this experience with our cocktails and Tapas, you are in for an experience you will remember! On the weekends we have live music on from 6pm on Friday & Saturdays and 4pm on Sundays with some surprise entertainment like a Saxophonist popping up throughout the month!

Our venue is spread over one floor, meaning the party atmosphere at the weekends is contagious - no matter where you are seated or even standing, you are part of the ‘full on fiesta!’

Our food offering ranges from our small tapas serves, main meals, boozy brunches to our finest Cuban Tapas served buffet style in our Mostrador - perfect for larger groups. Midweek, you can expect some great offers and deals including £6 Happy Days cocktails SundayWednesday and 2-4-1 Tapas on Thursdays!

Since my time here at Revolucion de Cuba as Sales Manager, I’m proud to see our venue growing in what we can offer - we have a fantastic venue that is now being used for many purposes from networking events, craft pottery events to our Drag Bingo nights!

I’m most proud of establishing the Drag Bingo Revolucion themed nights that we do throughout the year. We have worked hard with local Drag acts to design a night that is fun, and incorporates Bingo with a Revolucion de Cuba twist on it. Expect amazing performances, comedy and shot limbo to cocktails themed after our Drag acts - it’s a fabulous night that our guests love!

The decor of our venue really is important! We want our customers to step off the streets, like they’ve stepped off the plane into Cuba. The feel of our venue and the experiences we provide acts as a form of escapism - step away from real life for an hour or so, forget about work, sit back, relax and soak up the Cuban atmosphere!

The people of Glasgow love what we offer here at Revolución de Cuba, from our Tapas plates to our exotic cocktails - we’re getting busier each year and during our off peak sessions, so we must be doing something right! One of the biggest surprises is how many tourists we get coming into our venue to see the decor and take pictures with all of our art work, photography and interiors and of course sample our menu!

We want to continue enhancing our brand and our bar by pushing forward our live entertainment offering and ultimately being the ‘Home of the Fiesta’ - providing fiestas for all from corporate groups, to hen dos, to catch up with friends - Revolucion de Cuba Glasgow really is for all! Our new feel cocktail menu launches in the bar on Tuesday 8th August with more cocktails than before and amazing sharing options!
