Vehicle refuelling stations ENN has ambitious plans to add to our existing stations in the UK and Netherlands, and rapidly develop a network of natural gas refuelling stations across Europe. Our strategy will see natural gas refuelling stations deployed at both customer depots and open access sites. This will enable natural gas-powered fleets to operate reliably and refuel seamlessly across borders, allowing our customers to reduce the environmental impact of road transport operations.
Case Study Customer: Vos Logistics ENN’s customer Vos Logistics has successfully driven one of its dedicated LNG-powered trucks between Bremen and Birmingham, refuelling en route at ENN’s LNG facilities in Oss, in the Netherlands, and Wellingborough, in the UK. The ‘Bremen to Birmingham’ run was selected at the request of Vos Logistics’ customer Dräxlmaier, to test whether its dedicated LNG trucks would be able to complete a route spanning several European countries, and including a ferry crossing. The successful conclusion of this experiment marks an important step in ENN’s plans to develop a pan-European network of refuelling stations operating according to its ‘Borderless Billing’ concept.

Industrial & commercial supply Many industrial/commercial users continue to use Gasoil out of habit and lack of awareness of LNG. By replacing oil products with LNG, ENN can help off-grid customers to benefit from major cost savings, as well as CO2 emissions reductions of up to 30% (compared to oil). Using LNG also eliminates the risk of fuel contamination and/or leaks resulting in contaminated land or stock losses. LNG brings with it more transparent and stable pricing, and improved energy efficiency. Procurement ENN operates more than 600 fuelling stations globally, and sources equipment with scrupulous attention to good product quality, suitability for purpose, and long-term reliability. Safety & Permitting Our equipment conforms to all relevant national and EU regulations. ENN provides comprehensive training to all users of our stations. We engage with local health & safety legislative bodies, and use external safety auditors, to continuously improve our safety standards. Operations Station operations can be viewed and controlled in real time via ENN’s web portal. Stations are supplied with CCTV surveillance, to add an additional level of security and remote management. Billing ENN’s comprehensive station control and fuel management system ensures a safe and secure fuelling experience, and rapid, wireless transmission of clear, accurate billing data to customers. Case Study EU funding for vehicle refuelling stations ENN’s second natural gas vehicle refuelling facility in the UK is an open-access LNG station, strategically situated just off the A1(M) and A14 near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The Huntingdon station is ENN’s first facility to be developed in partnership with the European Commission, through its Connecting Europe Facility funding programme. More stations will follow soon in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, to assist with establishing a Europe-wide natural gas refuelling network. The opening also marks the beginning of a partnership between ENN and Pro-Petro Ltd, which operates HGV diesel refuelling facilities around the UK. The Huntingdon station is co-located as part of an extensive site that also offers diesel and AdBlue filling, a truck wash, and truck parking.
