NOVEMBER 2019

NYDKC

GOVERNOR'S BULLETIN Updates from Governor Camille!

Our board held their most recent meeting this past weekend along with the Circle K and Kiwanias District Boards! It was an incredible weekend of bonding and service, and we're looking forward to the future with our Kiwanis Family.

What I've been up to... Happy November! I hope everyone enjoyed their fall season. I've started to get snow in upstate NY! Thank you to all of those who participated in TOT for UNICEF. Please do not forget to fill out a Fundraising Report Form and submit all funds by December 31st.

#NYDKC The Shenendehowa Key Club volunteered with a local organization called Nick’s Fight at their Run to be Healed 5K! This non-profit organization works to emotionally and financially support children battle cancer, and often supports the pediatric center at Albany Med. Members got to participate in various activities like putting on carnival games for the kids, handing out water to runners, and face painting.

Throughout the month of October and the first two weeks of November, I was up to so much! I attended Fall Rallies around the state, attended some Circle K events, and held our most recent board meeting. And, believe it or not, LTC planning has already begun! Throughout the month of November, your club could collect food for your local food cupboard, fundraise for a charity like "Meals on Wheels," or start collecting holiday items to donate to families in need. The possibilities are endless. Happy Key Clubbing!
