What I've been up to... Hey Key Clubbers! This is officially my last bulletin. I promise I won't get sad... yet.
#NYDKC On Tuesday, February 4, the Ogdensburg Key Club hosted their annual Spaghetti Day. A local restaurant sponsors the event and cooks the food. Key Clubbers sell tickets, take orders, package the food for delivery, and serve the food. Each year, the proceeds for this event go towards funding the club to go to the Leadership Training Conference at The Desmond Hotel in Albany, NY. Dinners were $8 and included spaghetti, meatballs, a side salad, and a dinner roll. The event was very successful and well received by the community.
We have an incredible event coming up! In a few short weeks, we will be wrapping up the service year with the 72nd Annual Leadership Training Conference from March 27th-29th at the Desmond Hotel! While this is bittersweet, it's the celebration of what an incredible year we had. That's because of all of you! I am excited to see what you all accomplish in the future and it has been a pleasure working alongside you all. Our board had a meeting in February, I've been busy planning for LTC, and committees are releasing their final materials from this year. You also had LTG elections! If your club has yet to pay dues, please get those in ASAP. And your forms! We are incredibly close to reaching our goals. I know we can do it.
