What we've been up to... Hey NYDKC! It's been a little while since LTC, so here's what the board and I have been up to. In April, we held our first meeting of the service year. We went over a lot of rules and expectations, but we also decided on some fun things too. We decided on our service hour and fundraising goals which are 120,000 hours and $200,000.
On Saturday, May 4th, Division 9 Key Clubbers attended the CPR training that was hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Gravesend. They were given both adult and child dolls to practice on, as well as a hands-on guide by certified EMTs. By the end, they left knowing the basics of how to perform CPR and what to do in an emergency.

In May, I had the opportunity to attend Governor's Training in San Francisco and the vote closed for this year's district project. This year we chose "Project Semicolon!" I've also filmed the first edition of the "NY Minute," so don't forget to check out our YouTube channel. Our website is also getting a makeover! The new one should be up and running very soon.
