#40Answers Hazing Campaign HazingPrevention.Org has partnered with Sigma Nu Fraternity to organize the 2nd annual #40Answers campaign. In 2010, Sigma Nu Fraternity pioneered one of the first attempts to use crowdsourcing to engage constituents around the country in a hazing prevention discussion. This project came to be known as the #40Answers Campaign. The primary objective of the campaign is to engage individuals in dialogue, answering the question: "how would you respond to this common excuse for hazing in 140 characters or less?" How would you stand up against hazing in 140 characters?

Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity will begin a staffled recruitment effort to re-colonize its Beta Pi Chapter at Northwestern University beginning fall 2011. Throughout the fall quarter, Delta Tau Delta staff members will work in collaboration with the Northwestern Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life to launch a marketing campaign directed at non-Greek male students. The expansion team will spend several months preparing for the expansion through meetings with student leaders, Northwestern staff and potential members. The recruitment process will rely heavily on referrals from alumni and the campus community. The project will be managed by Kyle Yarawsky, who serves as a chapter consultant at Delt headquarters. The project will be executed by a three-man expansion team comprised of headquarters staff members. The Fraternity also will seek the assistance of Northwestern Delt alumni and other Delts in the Chicago area to create an alumni advising team to the undergraduate men. It also will encourage the engagement of non-Delts-- Northwestern faculty and staff, community members and spouses or parents -- in support of the new group. For more information on Delta Tau Delta, please contact Kyle at kyle.yarawsky@delts.net or visit their web site at www.delts.org
