COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) prepares students to qualify for professional licensure as a mental health counselor. This graduate degree can be completed in two years with classes in session from September through July.

HE CAME FOR A CAREER. HE LEFT WITH A PURPOSE. After 12 years in project management, Justin Monuteaux began to ask if there was more to life. That single question led him to the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program at Northwest University. Now, he has a growing counseling practice that helps struggling couples to rebuild their marriages. “Today my work has real meaning. I love what I do. Doctor of Psychology in
COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY The Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) prepares students to qualify for professional licensure as a psychologist in Washington State. Students are equipped to be culturally competent therapists using empirically tested interventions and to administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and assessments. In addition, the Psy.D. opens doors into the academic community through research and teaching at the college or university level. Below are course examples by year.
