9/21: Employer Information Sessions begin: find complete listings in CareerCat, under “Events” 9/26: Backpack to Briefcase Series begins: industryrelated job search strategies (see UCS website for more info) 9/27: Campus Recruiting Expo: see CareerCat for a complete list of employers and positions 9/29: First On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) resume submission deadline 10/10: Campus interviews for business, engineering, and science begin 10/10: Law School Week begins 10/20: Society of Women Engineers’ Industry Day: primarily technical job opportunities 11/2: Information Session for New York Recruiting Alliance: for seniors interested in advertising, marketing, legal assistance, publishing and other related positions

 Prime recruiters: Consulting, Finance, Banking, Engineering  Register and/or update your profile and resume in CareerCat  Clarify your career interests with a Career Counselor  Connect with an Employment Specialist to help with your job search strategy and timeline  Have your resume/cover letter reviewed in walk-ins at 620 Lincoln St or UCS Career Lab in the Main Library  Identify networking resources in industries/careers of interest using the UCS/Kellogg Mentoring Program, NAA CareerNet, Linked In, Twitter, and other social networking sites  Submit materials to positions of interest on CareerCat  Attend a UCS interview skills workshop and schedule a mock interview with an Employment Specialist  If interested in graduate or law school, see a Career Counselor about the application process

 Prime recruiters: Federal Government, Secondary Education, Engineering, General Business  If still unsure about career path, clarify your career interest with a Career Counselor  Use a variety of job search strategies beyond on-campus interviews such as networking & direct application  Continue to submit materials to positions of interest via CareerCat for job listings  Meet with an Employment Specialist to establish your individualized job search plan  Identify networking resources in industries/careers of interest using the UCS/Kellogg Mentoring Program, NAA, CareerNet, Linked In, Twitter, and other social networking sites  Attend a UCS Interview Skills workshop and schedule a mock interview with a UCS Practitioner

Employers are still posting in CareerCat to fill immediate openings.  Continue to search and apply for positions in all fields via CareerCat  Meet with an Employment Specialist to establish your individualized job search plan  Identify networking resources in industries/careers of interest using the UCS/Kellogg Mentoring Program, NAA CareerNet, Linked In, Twitter, and other social networking sites  Attend a UCS Interview Skills workshop and schedule a mock interview with a UCS Practitioner  If you have received and/or accepted a job, internship, or graduate/professional school offer, please report it on the UCS homepage under “Quick Links: report a job offer “
