O pequeno Aeroporto Internacional de Teuge, uma cidade holandesa situada a 80 quilômetros da capital, Amsterdã, conta com um hotel perfeito para quem é apaixonado por aviação. Trata-se de uma aeronave soviética modelo Ilyushin 18, construída no ano de 1960, que foi transformada em uma suíte de luxo para duas pessoas e conta com facilidades como jacuzzi e sauna até fornos e máquinas de café e chá. O hotel-avião foi batizado em homenagem a Erich Honecker, político alemão que foi dono da aeronave em seus primeiros anos. Entre 1964 e 1986, a companhia aérea Interflug, da Alemanha Oriental, fez voos internacionais para países como Cuba, Rússia, China e Vietnã com o avião. Depois da unificação alemã, o Ilyushin 18 funcionou como um restaurante por 15 anos, até ser adquirido pela empresa Hotelsuites.nl, em 2007. O O cockpit original do avião continua totalmente equipado, e a suíte tem vistas privilegiadas para a plataforma e pista do aeroporto, oferecendo perspectivas únicas de pousos e decolagens. O avião, que tem cerca de 40 metros de comprimento, também pode ser contratado como um espaço de reuniões e comporta grupos de até 15 pessoas.

11 AN AIRPLANE jUST FOR YOU The small International Airport at Teuge, a Dutch town located 80 kilometers from the capital, Amsterdam, has a perfect hotel for those who are passionate about aviation. It is a Soviet aircraft, a Ilyushin 18, built in 1960, which was transformed into a luxury suite for two people and has facilities such as a jacuzzi and sauna and co, even an oven and coffee and tea machines. The hotel-plane was named after Erich Honecker, a German politician who was the owner of the aircraft in its early years. Between 1964 and 1986, the airline company, Interflug, from East Germany, made international flights to countries like Cuba, Russia, China and Vietnam with the plane. After German unification, the Ilyushin 18 operated as a restaurant for 15 years, until it was bought in 2007, by the company Hotelsuites.nl. The plane’s original cockpit continues to be fully equipped, and the suite has privileged views of the airport runway and platform, offering unique perspectives of takeoffs and landings.

Dubai HOSPEDAGEM NAS ALTURAS Em novembro do ano passado, a rede de hotéis Marriott abriu as portas do hotel mais alto do mundo, o cinco estrelas JW Marriot Marquis Dubai, para receber os primeiros hóspedes. O empreendimento fica na cidade de Dubai, nos Emirados Árabes, e tem 355 metros de altura, 26 a mais do que o Empire State Building, em Nova York. O novo hotel, composto por duas torres gêmeas de 77 andares, inclui nove restaurantes especializados nas cozinhas asiática, italiana, americana e alemã, entre outras, cinco bares, lounges, um SPA, salas e salões para convenções e encontros de negócios − para grupos de até mil pessoas! −, e um grande espaço para eventos como casamentos. Localizado no coração da Business Bay, onde estão os principais arranhacéus da cidade, o hotel fica perto dos icônicos edifícios Dubai World Trade Centre e Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, e do Aeroporto Internacional de Dubai. Atualmente, apenas uma das torres, que conta com 804 quartos e suítes, está aberta aos hóspedes. A previsão é que a segunda torre, que abriga o mesmo número de acomodações, abra as portas até o final do ano que vem.

ACCOMMODATION AT GREAT HEIGHTS In November last year, the hotel chain Marriott opened the doors of the world‘s tallest hotel, the five-star jW Marriott Marquis Dubai, to receive their first guests. The development is in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and stands 355 meters tall, 26 meters higher than the Empire State Building in New York. The new hotel, consisting of two twin towers of 77 floors, includes nine restaurants specializing in Asian, Italian, American and German cuisine, among others, five bars, lounges, a spa, rooms and rooms for conventions and business meetings - for groups up to a thousand people! - and a large area for events such as weddings. Located in the heart of Business Bay, where the city’s main skyscrapers can be found, the hotel is near the iconic buildings, the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, and Dubai International Airport. Currently, only one tower, which has 804 rooms and suites, is open to guests. It is anticipated that the second tower, which has the same number of rooms, will open its doors by the end of next year.

AzEITE, ALHO, CEBOLA E ALGO MAIS A Bela Sintra ganhou no final de junho mais uma vez como restaurante português da cidade na pesquisa realizada pela revista O Melhor de São Paulo, da Folha de S.Paulo. A casa, aberta em 2004, coleciona troféus e clientes fiéis. Eles não se cansam de visitar o endereço dos Jardins para provar os quitutes cuidadosamente elaborados pela chef Ilda Vinagre, uma portuguesa que honra a tradição culinária de seu país sem deixar de introduzir novidades nas panelas. “Azeite, alho e cebola são fundamentais na minha cozinha. Tudo começa por aí, depois logo se vê”, diz, em seu agora leve sotaque português − ela já está no Brasil há mais de quatro anos. “Sempre estive a par da moda. Embora as pessoas pensem que não, a gastronomia é como um desfile de roupas de um estilista”, diz, explicando que acompanha as feiras internacionais para manter-se informada sobre as inovações da alta gastronomia e admira a turma de espanhóis que revolucionou a culinária nos últimos anos. Ilda mudou-se para o Brasil em 2009, mas já havia vindo quatro vezes ao país para festivais, duas vezes no próprio A Bela Sintra.

Ilda Vinagre Numa casa portuguesa trabalha-se muito com bacalhau, peixes e frutos do mar. As pessoas que entram aqui pedem e querem isso. Então, ao longo do tempo vamos fazendo bacalhau de várias formas, colocando uma coisa ou outra.

Agora estamos com umas codornizes (codornas) recheadas com bacon, ervilhas e arroz, servidas com fetucine na manteiga, que toda a gente está a gostar. É uma combinação um bocado louca, mas é uma delícia e tem muita aceitação. Agora é a novidade aqui do Bela Sintra. Cada mês há uma novidade, um bacalhau ou uma carne diferente.

Vocês introduziram recentemente no cardápio a sericaia, pouco conhecida aqui no Brasil. Os clientes gostam de provar pratos novos?

A maioria de nossos clientes conhece e gosta de Portugal. Isso ajuda bastante em qualquer prato que lançamos, porque as pessoas já comeram e gostaram, querem voltar a sentir aquela sensação. Nós até vamos criando coisas a partir da demanda deles. No ano passado, colocamos papos-de-anjo na sobremesa e pessoas vieram do Recife para provar. A sericaia é uma sobremesa muito delicada, a aparência não é tão bonita, mas é muito boa de gosto. E bem ao gosto brasileiro. A maior parte dos clientes conhece e pede com muita frequência. Mas é um doce feito apenas na região do Alentejo, em Portugal, onde vem acompanhada por uma ameixa chamada Rainha Cláudia, que só existe naquela região. É tão doce que muitos deixam de comer, mas em conserva é a maior delícia que existe, chama-se ameixa de Elvas, nome de uma cidade do Alentejo.

Você sente falta de ingredientes de Portugal?

Já me habituei tantos aos ingredientes daqui que já não sinto falta. O primeiro ano foi difícil, mas depois aprendi a substituir.

Como você se interessou pela gastronomia?

Minha mãe era cozinheira, há uns 60 anos. Ela fazia os casamentos, os batizados, e tinha um boteco, as pessoas gostavam muito de sua comida. Eu era a caçula, ficava com ela na cozinha. Não sei quando comecei a descascar uma batata, uma cebola, porque acho que toda a vida fiz isso. Vivi a infância no Ribatejo, e aos 8 anos fomos para Lisboa. Continuei a estudar, depois a trabalhar, mas o bichinho estava aqui. Aos 20 anos, comecei a preparar almoços para uma amiga que abriu uma casa pequena. Fazia durante a noite, comida tradicional portuguesa, feijoada, caldeirada, carne de porco assada, era comida enfarta Brutus (risos). Aos 24 anos, fui trabalhar no restaurante da ONU, em Nova York, onde fiquei seis anos. Como ganhei algum dinheiro, decidi voltar a Portugal e abrir um restaurante com minha cunhada, chamado A Bolota. Durante dez anos, foi um dos melhores restaurantes portugueses, ganhei duas estrelas Michelin. Ganhei tudo o que havia para ganhar nesta época, nos anos 1980.

Você gosta das novas técnicas da gastronomia? Usa? Não, eu mantenho as minhas raízes, tradições, vou modernizando a cozinha portuguesa. Inovo conservando os sabores.

Você teria um exemplo de prato em que tenha inovado conservando a tradição?

OLIVE OIL, GARLIC, ONIONS AND SOMETHING ELSE At the end of june, The Bela Sintra was again awarded the best Portuguese restaurant in the city, in the survey conducted by the magazine The Best of São Paulo, from the Folha de Sao Paulo. The restaurant, which opened in 2004, collects trophies and loyal customers.

They never tire of visiting the address in the jardins neighborhood, to sample the delicacies carefully prepared by the chef Ilda Vinagre, a Portuguese woman who honors the culinary tradition of her country whilst at the same time being innovative in her creations.

“Olive oil, garlic and onion are essential in my kitchen. It all starts there, then we’ll see, “she says in her light Portuguese accent - she has been in Brazil for more than four years. “I’ve always been aware of what is fashionable. Although people don’t think so, food is like the parade of a designer`s clothes, “ she says, and confirms that she accompanies international fairs to be kept informed about the innovations of haute cuisine and admire the group of Spaniards who have revolutionized cooking in recent years. Ilda moved to Brazil in 2009, but had visited Brazil four times for festivals, and twice at the Bela Sintra.

Global aviation What’s new on the menu? ilda vinagre Portuguese restaurants offer a lot like cod, fish and seafood. People who come here, ask for and want this. So, over time, we cook cod in a variety of different ways, offering different options. At the moment, we have quails eggs stuffed with bacon, peas and rice, served with fettuccine in butter, which everyone enjoys. The combination might be a bit crazy, but it’s delicious and is popular. At the moment, this is the novelty at Bela Sintra. Each month there is something new, a different meat or cod.

You recently introduced sericaia to the menu, which is not very well known here in Brazil. Do customers like to try new dishes?

Most of our customers know and like Portugal. This helps a lot with any dish that we launch, because people have eaten and enjoyed it, they

want to have that same feeling again. We even create things based on what they like and ask for. Last year, we included papos de anjos as a dessert and people came from Recife to try it.

Sericaia is a very delicate dessert, its appearance is not so attractive, but it tastes good. And Brazilians enjoy it. Most of our customers know what it is and frequently order it. But it is a dessert that is only made in the Alentejo region in Portugal, where it comes accompanied with a plum called Queen Claudia, that can only be found in this region. It’s so sweet that many people don’t eat it, but preserved, it is absolutely delicious, and known as Elvas Plum, the name of a town in the Alentejo region.

I have gotten used to so many ingredients here that I no longer miss those from Portugal.

The first year was difficult, but then I learned to find substitutes. How did you get interested in gastronomy?

My mother was a cook, about 60 years ago. She did weddings, baptisms, and had a bar, people were very fond of her food. I was the youngest, and stayed with her in the kitchen. I don’t know when I started peeling potatoes, onions, because I think I have been doing this all my life. I spent my childhood in Ribatejo, and when I was eight we went to Lisbon. I continued to study, then I worked, but I was smitten! When I was 20, I began to prepare lunches for a friend who had opened a small restaurant. I did this in the evening, preparing traditional Portuguese food, feijoada, stew, roast pork, it was heart attack food (she laughs).

When I was 24, I went to work at the restaurant at the UN in New York, where I spent six years. After I had earned some money, I decided to return to Portugal and open a restaurant with my sister-in-law, called The Bolota. For ten years, it was one of the best Portuguese restaurants, I won two Michelin stars. I won everything there was to win at the time, during the 1980s.

Do you like the new food techniques? Do you use them?

No I don’t, my roots are the traditions, which I maintain, and I will modernize the Portuguese cuisine. I innovate by preserving the flavors.

Do you have an example of a dish that you have innovated whilst keeping the tradition?

For 30 years, the covert that we served at The Bolota, as a courtesy, was spinach with shrimp. Even today they still offer this. Here, several dishes have this feature, such as the Herdade do Esporão cod, which was something I created. The fish is cooked in olive oil with fried vegetables (spinach, beetroot, carrots, leeks), served with panadeira potato made in olive oil with garlic. Delicious! It really is a tasty cod dish, beautiful and very good.

And for dessert?

We have fig biscuit, with iced figs served with cream and hot chopped walnuts.

Durante 30 anos servimos no couvert do A Bolota, como cortesia, espinafres com camarão.

Ainda hoje eles oferecem. Aqui, vários pratos têm esta característica, como o bacalhau da Herdade do Esporão, criação minha. O peixe é confitado no azeite, com verduras fritas (espinafre, beterraba, cenoura, alho-poró), servido com batata panadeira, feita no azeite com alho. Uma delícia!

E realmente é um bacalhau simpático, bonito e muito bom.

E nas sobremesas?

SHAKESPEARE, A RAINHA E OS BEATLES

A capital britânica fascina os visitantes com imponentes cenários da história e de personalidades que marcam a cultura ocidental Uma cidade glamorosa onde a história se mistura com a modernidade.

Londres sempre está presente no sonho de quem quer viajar ou na memória de quem já esteve por lá. Desde os tempos de escola, nas aulas, a capital inglesa é presença constante nos livros e debates. Pisando na cidade, é possível lembrar das aulas de história e ver ao vivo cenários históricos deslumbrantes: prédios e construções históricas como palácios e torres do século XVII, costumes antigos e tradicionais como a troca de guarda e o chá das 5.

Nas aulas de literatura, aprende-se muito sobre Shakespeare e em Londres é possível ver e entender um pouco mais esse dramaturgo genial e assistir a suas peças em um teatro especial. Ao mesmo tempo em que a cidade desperta tantas lembranças, grandes arranha-céus, uma enorme roda-gigante, um estúdio que mostra como foram feitas as filmagens de Harry Potter, restaurantes refinados e badalados, hotéis sofisticados, entre muitas outras coisas, mostram que Londres é uma cidade europeia que não parou no tempo. Changing of the Guard The changing of the guards is the most popular attraction at Buckingham Palace. It involves the changeover of soldiers from the infantry battalions, responsible for security at Queen Elizabeth II’s palace. A military band accompanies the entire process, playing various types of music, from traditional marches to popular songs.

All the soldiers wear the famous uniform, consisting of a red tunic and tall hat made from black bearskin. The ceremony is a very traditional parade and currently one of the city’s main tourist attractions. The changing of the guard starts at 11h30, daily between May and july, and on alternate days during the rest of the year. Estamos falando do Vulcano, veículo desenvolvido pelo estúdio de design Icona, que representa uma evolução do conceito Fuselage, exibido em 2011. Assinado por Samuel Chaffart, designer que já trabalhou para Nissan e Jaguar, e Claudio Lombardi, que atuou na escuderia de Fórmula 1 Ferrari, o automóvel terá inicialmente apenas uma unidade produzida em Turim, na Itália. Híbrido equipado com dois motores, tem as versões H-Turismo V12 (propulsor 6.0 V12 que gera 790 cavalos de potência e outro elétrico com 160 cavalos) e H-Competizione (V6 biturbo de 550 e elétrico também de 160). O creme é feito com o chocolate francês Valrhona, o preferido entre top chefs de todo o planeta. O croissant também é um dos melhores de toda Paris. O salão do piso térreo, onde funciona o restaurante, é um dos ambientes mais festejados do hotel. Ali, é possível jantar ao lado de estrelas do cinema de todo o mundo, divas da música, autores franceses da moda. O ambiente desenhado por Patrick Jouin tem mesas ovais e é decorado por um imenso lustre com pingentes de cristal. Um simples jantar transforma-se numa grande festa, à noite. Garçons apresentam-se vestindo trajes impecáveis, verdadeiros gentlemen, que praticamente adivinham o que você está pensando em matéria de sabores e aromas. O cardápio tem pratos variados. Alguns simples, como um risoto de cogumelos selvagens. Ao saboreá-lo, a impressão é que se está provando os ingredientes selecionados a dedo de toda a França, fato que Ducasse faz questão de anunciar em seus cardápios.

Caso a ideia seja apenas passar pelo restaurante, para um menu mais simples, prove o café da manhã Le Plaza (75 euros), que vem com paleta Ibérica Bellota originária de Guijuelo (província de Salamanca, Espanha), salmão defumado escocês, frutas frescas cortadas, sobremesa da preferência do freguês, iogurte, e uma taça de champanhe Alain Ducasse brut.

Outro restaurante de palácio que merece uma visita é o que fica no térreo do hotel le Meurice, na Rue de Rivoli, no quadrilátero do luxo da capital francesa. Nicolas Grau, diretor da área de serviços do hotel diz que, desde sua abertura, em 1835, a hospedaria tem em seu restaurante uma espécie de vitrine de exaltação da arte de viver proposta pelo lugar. “O restaurante tem três estrelas Michelin, há seis anos.

Nossa gastronomia de excelência tem como base criar, no mínimo, o melhor. A partir dessa observação, oferecemos produtos de grande qualidade, vindos de pequenos produtores dos arredores de Paris. Até mesmo o mel usado em algumas sobremesas vem de uma colmeia que se instalou na Ópera de Paris”, conta ele.

Sentar-se no restaurante deste hotel é como se sentir na corte de Luís XV. O estilo arquitetônico Madame de Pompadour está em cada detalhe, das frisas

do teto decorado aos lustres, adornos da lareira, tapetes, taças, talheres e pratos. Os menus costumam variar semanalmente. As receitas são do estrelado Yannick Alléno, que acaba de deixar a casa − que mantém as suas criações no cardápio, agora executado pelos subchefs.

Entre as mesas de palácios europeias, destacam-se ainda os hotéis de Monte Carlo, no principado de Mônaco. Os chefs Joël Garault, do Vistamar, no hotel Hermitage, e Paolo Sari, do Elsa, no Monte-Carlo Beach, ambas propriedades do Grupo Monte-Carlo SBM, que completa 150 anos neste ano, são alguns dos mais apreciados pelos visitantes europeus endinheirados.

Ao falar da sua gastronomia, o chef Sari conta que gosta de trabalhar com produtos que ele mesmo cultiva, na sua horta. “É uma pequena plantação em que não abro mão de respeitar o meio ambiente.

Não uso produtos químicos de nenhuma espécie.

Uso ainda ingredientes vindos da região, no máximo de 30 quilômetros ao redor do hotel. Assim, tenho certeza de que tomates, abobrinhas e berinjelas estarão todos muito frescos, na hora do consumo”, diz ele. Sari observa que, mesmo que o restaurante fique à beira do Mediterrâneo, costuma trabalhar com os peixes locais, salmonetes, robalos, sardinhas, entre outros, além de lagosta e caviar de esturjão.

Italiano, ele observa que não abre mão de usar bom azeite, comprado de um pequeno produtor local, que extrai alguns poucos litros por ano, de forma manual. “Minha preocupação é revelar o sabor e a qualidade dos produtos”, diz ele. “Acredito que por este motivo a minha cozinha seja cultuada.”

Joël Garault conta que o forte da sua cozinha são os peixes, todos pescados horas antes de irem para a mesa. “Aprecio particularmente os pescados da região. Costumo comprar de um pescador de Mônaco, que vai para o mar diariamente, trazendo salmonete, besugo, entre tantos outros.”

Assim como Sari e Ducasse, ele diz que a base de uma cozinha de palácio é a simplicidade e o respeito aos produtos. Disso ele faz questão, até mesmo quando usa carvão vegetal para fazer os seus grelhados. “O carvão deve ter atestado de procedência e deve ser ecológico. Do contrário, não uso”, afirma o chef. Ele diz que prefere os legumes da temporada, que compra, pessoalmente, no mercado central de Mônaco. Atualmente, ele está abusando das ervilhas, do feijão-verde, berinjela, pimentão, tomate, abobrinha, flores de abobrinha, gengibre, todos muito bonitos neste verão europeu, para criar pratos que são verdadeiras obras de arte.

The cream is made from the French chocolate Valrhona, a favorite among top chefs from around the world.

The croissant is also one of the best in Paris. Nicolas Grau, the director of the service area in the hotel says that since its opening, in 1835, the hotel restaurant represents a sort of magnificent showcase of the art of living proposed by the place.

“For six years, the restaurant has had three Michelin stars. Our excellent gastronomy is based on creating the best. From this starting point, we offer excellent quality products, that come from small farmers on the outskirts of Paris. Even the honey used in some desserts comes from a beehive that is found at the Paris Opera House, “he says.

Sitting in the restaurant of this hotel is like being in the court of Louis XV. The Madame de Pompadour architectural style is present in every detail, from the decorated ceiling friezes to the chandeliers, the fireplace ornaments, rugs, glasses, cutlery and crockery. The menu usually changes weekly. The recipes were created by the star Yannick Alléno, who has just left the restaurant – but has kept his creations on the menu, and which are now prepared by sub-chefs. Among the tables of European palaces, other highlights include the hotels in Monte Carlo in the principality of Monaco.

Being Italian, he says that he only uses the best olive oil, which he buys from a small local producer, that manually extracts a few liters every year. “I am concerned with revealing the flavor and quality of the products,” he says. “I believe this is reason my kitchen is so revered .” joël Garault states that the high point of his kitchen are the fish, all caught only a few hours before being served at the table. “I particularly appreciate the fish from the region. I often buy from a fisherman in Monaco, who fishes in the sea daily, bringing mullet, bream, among many others. “ Like Sari and Ducasse, he says that the basis of a palace kitchen is simplicity and respect for the products. Maior paisagista do barroco francês, André Le Nôtre era amigo de Louis XIV e criou os jardins do Palácio de Versalhes e das Tulherias. Para ter uma ideia, é ele o inventor do famoso estilo francês de fazer jardins, que hoje é praticamente sinônimo de bom gosto e refinamento. Em 2013, completam-se 400 anos de seu nascimento, e o convidado principal para celebrar a data é o italiano Giuseppe Penone. Líder do movimento Arte Povera nos anos 1960, ele espalhou sua obra pelos principais museus e espaços do mundo, incluindo o brasileiro e celebrado Inhotim, em Minas.

Quem visitar o Palácio de Versalhes até outubro deste ano poderá apreciar a interação entre o trabalho do famoso paisagista, com suas esculturas vegetais e design elegante, e o do escultor contemporâneo, conhecido por plantar árvores com interferências que as transformam em obras de arte. “A chance de fazer com que meu trabalho estabeleça um diálogo com o de Le Nôtre em Versalhes é um grande privilégio. A LOT MORE THAN A GARDEN One of the greatest landscape gardeners from the French Baroque, André Le Nôtre was a friend of Louis XIV and created the gardens in the Palace of Versailles and the Tuileries. To get an idea, he invented the famous French style for making gardens, which today is virtually synonymous with good taste and refinement.

In 2013, it is 400 years since his birth, and the main guest to celebrate the date is the Italian Giuseppe Penone. Leader of the Arte Povera movement from the 1960s, his work is displayed in the main museums and spaces throughout the world, including Brazil and the celebrated Inhotim in Minas.

Anyone visiting the Palace of Versailles before October this year can enjoy the interaction between the work of the famous landscape gardener, with its vegetable sculptures and stylish design, and that of the contemporary sculptor, known for planting trees with interference that transform them into works of art. “The chance to let my work establish a dialogue with that at Le Nôtre in Versailles is a great privilege.

Uma das artistas mais importantes da América Latina, Mira Schendel, suíça radicada no Brasil que morreu em 1988, terá uma homenagem póstuma na Tate Modern, em Londres, que exibirá mais de 250 pinturas, gravuras e esculturas entre 25 de setembro deste ano e 19 de janeiro de 2014. Será a primeira mostra em grande escala da obra da artista, que expôs na Primeira Bienal Internacional de São Paulo, em 1951. A artista chegou ao Brasil em 1949 e, juntamente com seus contemporâneos Lygia Clark e Hélio Oiticica, reinventou o Modernismo Europeu no país. Entre suas obras mais conhecidas estão as séries de monotipias em papel-arroz produzidas na década de 1960, que eram divididas em grupos: linhas, arquiteturas (linhas em forma de U), letras (alfabeto e símbolos matemáticos) e escritos. Em 1966, após expor em Londres a série Droguinhas, passou a produzir peças em acrílico.

Falamos de traição, por exemplo, reavaliando a posição masculina diante desse fato, com o objetivo de ressaltar que o perdão é necessário para um relacionamento saudável. É sabido que Freud praticamente jogou a toalha na hora de entender a sexualidade feminina, que para ele era uma incógnita.

Você acha que a mulher continua sendo o continente desconhecido para os homens?

Não. Acho que a mulher progrediu muito no sentido de parar de questionar tanto atitudes que são, e sempre vão ser, apenas dos homens. Assim, os relacionamentos ficaram mais amenos, mais coesos e fáceis de serem levados.

Todo mundo fala que o homem não sabe mais como agir com as mulheres hoje. A peça toca nisso? Na sua opinião, o homem está mes-

mo perdido ou já encontrou um novo papel diante da nova mulher?

Está encontrando. Abordamos os diversos temas nas bocas de três personalidades bem distintas − um médico obstetra, um oficial do Corpo de Bombeiros e um executivo. Essa mescla eu coloquei justamente para dar a variação masculina necessária e abrir a cabeça dos homens que estão nos assistindo. Com certeza entenderão melhor as dúvidas e os questionamentos das mulheres. Não só esposas, mas amantes, namoradas e “ficantes” (risos).

Como é a recepção do público? Como homens e mulheres se comportam?

Como aliados. Mas, sem achar que tem moral da história. A peça flui justamente porque é eficaz na tratativa entre homens e mulheres como forma de entretenimento. Não levanto bandeira. Aponto os problemas e suas variantes, e, diante do que se tem como personalidade, cada um busca seu melhor “esquema” com a pessoa que ama.

Darson Ribeiro Yes ... absolutely! We talk about betrayal, for example, assessing the masculine point of view with regard to this fact, in order to emphasize that forgiveness is necessary for a healthy relationship.

It is well known that Freud almost threw in the towel when it came to understanding female sexuality, which for him was an incognito. Do you think that women continue to be an unknown continent for men?

No. I think that women have made a great deal of progress, in the sense of no longer questioning attitudes that are, and always will be, only male attitudes. Thus, relationships have become amenable, more cohesive and easier to manage.

Everybody says that men no longer know how to act with women today. Does the play deal with this? In your opinion, are men still unsure or have they found a new role with the new women?

Teatro/ Theater They are discovering this new role. We address the various issues from the point of view of the three distinct personalities - an obstetrician, an officer from the Fire Department and an executive.

I decided on this mix specifically to provide the masculine variety necessary and to open the minds of men who are watching the play. For sure, they will better understand women`s doubts and questions. Not only wives but mistresses, girlfriends, and “one night stands” (laughs).

How has the public received the play? How have men and women reacted?

As allies. But without thinking that there is a moral to the story.

The play is a success precisely because it effectively deals with issues between men and women as a means of entertainment. It does not make a big issue of things. It identifies the problems and their variants, and, depending on the personality, each individual seeks the best “solution” with the person they love.

A

chegada a Cape Town, ou Cidade do Cabo, na África do Sul, impressiona desde a estrada que liga o aeroporto à cidade propriamente dita. De longe, é possível observar a cadeia de montanhas altíssimas que formam o parque ecológico de Table Mountain, no extremo sul do país, um destino vibrante, ideal para turistas aventureiros que não abrem mão de instalações de primeira qualidade.

Uma das curiosidades que mais chamam a atenção quando se chega à cidade é a mão do trânsito, como na Grã-Bretanha. Não nos esqueçamos de que o lugar foi colonizado pelos ingleses, que deixaram marcas no dia a dia. Desde o café da manhã é possível sentir isso, com o prato que exibe torradas, ovo frito, bacon, cogumelos, feijão-branco, tomate e batata, servido com chá, ou seja, o tradicional english breakfast.

Voltando à paisagem, a comparação com o Rio de Janeiro é irresistível. A região tem belas montanhas, mar azul, praias lindas, sol, além de um parque enorme, praticamente dentro da cidade. Ah, e um bondinho que leva os turistas à Table Mountain, ou “Montanha Mesa”. A formação tem cerca de 1.000

metros de altura e se parece com uma mesa, com o topo reto e rochoso. É um dos principais pontos turísticos da África do Sul, de onde é possível observar toda a cidade. Existem duas formas de subir até a base da montanha, de bondinho, trajeto que dura pouco mais de dez minutos e, a pé, com caminhadas de quatro a sete horas.

As instalações hoteleiras são de alto nível. Há diversos hotéis de charme no perímetro urbano. A Long Street, bem no centro, é o endereço escolhido pela maioria dos turistas. É uma rua cheia de restaurantes, butiques, boates e hotéis. Desse ponto é possível ir a pé a muitas outras partes da cidade, que tem marcas portuguesas e holandesas, da época das grandes navegações. No centro comercial fica o Castelo da Boa Esperança, fortaleza secular usada pelos holandeses para proteger os seus domínios. É um passeio que vale a pena.

O porto, recentemente convertido em shopping, tem lojas, restaurantes, bares, uma roda-gigante e a maior quantidade de turistas estrangeiros da África do Sul. Ali também fica um aquário e barcos que saem para a Robben Island, ilha a dez quilômetros de Cape Town, diariamente. O lugar abrigou por muitos anos uma prisão. Foi lá que Nelson Mandela − ex-presidente que acabou com o Apartheid, sistema de segregação racial que durou de 1948 a 1994 em todo o país − passou 18 anos de sua vida.

Voltando à cidade, bons restaurantes estão espalhados pela orla e pelo centro de Cape Town. A carne de caça é um dos destaques para o turista estrangeiro. Avestruzes, antílopes, veados, entre tantos outros, grelhados ou servidos como recheio de tortas ou em patês, estão disponíveis em diversas casas. Pratos orientais, entre indianos e chineses, proliferam pelo lugar, que recebeu muitos imigrantes desses países.

Pelas ruas de Cape Town é possível encontrar o cheiro característico da culinária indiana, com seus currys aromáticos.

rriving in Cape Town, South Africa, is impressive from the road that links the airport to the city itself.

At a distance, you can see the chain of enormous mountains that form the ecological park of Table Mountain, in the extreme south of the country, a vibrant destination, ideal for adventurous tourists who want to find first class facilities.

One of the curiosities that attracts a great deal of attention when you arrive in the city is the fact that the traffic drives on the left, the same as in Britain. Let us not forget that the place was colonized by the British, who left their mark on the daily routines. This is evident even with the breakfast, which consist of toast, fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and potatoes, served with tea, in other words, the traditional English breakfast.

Returning to the landscape, the comparison with Rio de janeiro is irresistible. The region has beautiful mountains, blue sea, wonderful beaches, sun, and a huge park, almost within the city. Oh, and a cable car that takes tourists up to Table Mountain. The mountain is about one thousand meters high and looks like a table, with its flat and rocky top. It is one of the main tourist sights of South Africa, from where you can see the whole city. There are two ways to arrive at the base of the mountain, by cable car that lasts just over ten minutes or walking, which takes between four and seven hours.

The hotel facilities are first class. There are several charming hotels in the urban area. Long Street, right in the center, is the address chosen by most tourists. It’s a street full of restaurants, boutiques, nightclubs and hotels.

Boulders Beach, em False Bay, entre Fish Hoek e Cape Point, tem mar calmo. É a praia mais indicada para natação. No lugar, há uma colônia com mais de três mil pinguins, desde 1983. É uma visita desejável a quem quer se aproximar da fauna da região.

Para aqueles ávidos por história, vale visitar o parque ecológico da Table Montain e o Cabo da Boa Esperança, batizado assim pelos exploradores portugueses no momento em que conseguiram driblar as dificuldades marítimas, encontrando passagem para o Oriente. Returning to the city, good restaurants are scattered around the edge and the center of Cape Town. Game meat is one of the highlights for the foreign tourist. Ostriches, antelopes, deer, among others, grilled or served as a filling for pies or patês are available in many restaurants. Oriental dishes, including Indian and Chinese, proliferate the place, which has received many immigrants from these countries. Along the streets of Cape Town you can find the characteristic smell of Indian cuisine, with its aromatic curries.

Besides its cosmopolitan appeal, Gordon’s Bay has managed to preserve the characteristics of an old coastal town. The place has one of the most talked about sunsets in the world.

Boulders Beach in False Bay, between Fish Hoek and Cape Point, has calm seas. It is the most suitable beach for swimming. Here, there is a colony of more than three thousand penguins, which have been here since 1983. It is makes a good trip for anyone who wants to visit the fauna of the region.

etween 14 and 16 August, Labace 2013 – the 10th Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition will bring together the biggest players in the industry at Congonhas Airport. Global Aviation has organized a stand of 99 square meters, with music, videos demonstrating their aircraft and a caterer with snacks to welcome customers and visitors.

The commander Ricardo Gobbetti, the president of the company, and eleven employees from the company will be present. The main focus of the company will be to highlight the option for shared acquisitions, which is highly recommended for those who do not need to have an aircraft fulltime.

This type of purchase is made through quotas, involving up to five owners, who then share the post-sales costs, such as hangar, leasing insurance, maintenance and crew expenses. “This formula is a way to increase the opportunities for those who would like to own an aircraft but want to incur reduced fixed monthly costs,” says Ricardo Gobbetti, the company president.

Global’s stand will also provide cocktails prepared by the chef from the restaurant the Bela Sintra, Ilda Vinagre. Karene Vilela A casta Alvarinha está em alta no mundo vínico atualmente. Como não poderia deixar de ser, a Bacalhoa apresenta um ótimo vinho de qualidade e bom preço para essa casta − o Loridos Alvarinho −, produzido na região de Óbidos, na Quinta dos Loridos.

Ele tem um corpo médio, acidez equilibrada e na boca é rico, fresco e mineral. O Loridos tinto é uma mescla de castelão com merlot que apresenta uma estrutura complexa e acidez refrescante, com um bom potencial de guarda. Ambas as sugestões harmonizam perfeitamente com o menu sugerido para o evento e se caracterizam por serem ideais para coquetéis em que é necessário um bom vinho, mas que não seja tão pesado para que possa ser degustado o período todo do evento.

A safra escolhida, de 2008, tem algo especial?

A Quinta da Bacalhoa costuma manter o padrão de qualidade e entrega de nuances dos vinhos com uma eficiência padronizada ao longo dos anos, portanto, não é normal escolher os vinhos da Quinta por safras uma vez que a qualidade e a tradição da produção tende a ser mantida. O que você recomenda a quem for degustar estes vinhos? E qual seriam os vinhos portugueses mais indicados?

Na minha opinião, todo vinho português deve ser sempre bem acompanhando por um bom prato. Os vinhos foram feitos para serem harmonizados com a comida e, portanto, nada melhor que a gastronomia rica portuguesa para acompanhar. Existem grandes marcas portuguesas disponíveis no Brasil. A Portus Cale tem o privilégio de importar algumas delas, como a Quinta da Romaneira e a Quinta da Bacalhoa.

Temos a impressão de que a culinária e os vinhos portugueses obtém cada vez mais aceitação no Brasil, especialmente junto a um público mais exigente. Você percebe isso no seu negócio?

O fato de muitos portugueses e espanhóis estarem migrando de seus países para o Brasil por conta da crise europeia conta muito, afinal, eles trazem os hábitos e influências para nós e o brasileiro é um povo muito aberto a novas culturas e tradições. Além disso, a comunidade portuguesa do século passado no Brasil construiu grandes impérios no segmento enogastronômico (padarias de alto padrão, empórios renomados, entre outros) e nunca deixaram suas raízes e influências para trás. Portanto, acredito sim que é o momento para a cena portuguesa e espero que fique por muitos anos.

It has a medium body, balanced acidity and in the mouth it is rich, fresh and mineral. Both suggestions harmonize perfectly with the suggested menu for the event and are considered to be ideal for cocktails that require a good wine, but not so heavy to prevent them from being enjoyed throughout the period of the event

Does the harvest chosen, from 2008, have something special?

A Quinta da Bacalhoa usually maintains the standard of quality and provides nuances of wines with an efficiency that has been consistent over the years, so it is not normal to choose wines from Quinta by harvest since the quality and tradition of production tends to be maintained . Some years are exceptional, but overall the quality is consistently excellent.

What do you recommend for those who are tasting these wines? And what would be the most suitable Portuguese wines?

There are important Portuguese brands available in Brazil. Portus Cale has the privilege of importing some of them, like Quinta da Romaneira and Quinta da Bacalhoa.

In my opinion, all Portuguese wine should be accompanied by a very good dish. The wines were made to harmonize with the food and, therefore, nothing better than the rich Portuguese cuisine to accompany them. There are major Portuguese brands available in Brazil. Portus Cale has the privilege of importing some of them, like Quinta da Romaneira and Quinta da Bacalhoa.

We get the impression that Portuguese cuisine and wines are becoming increasingly more accepted in Brazil, particularly with a more demanding public. Have you noticed this in your business?

In the last two years, Portugal and the Iberian region as a whole, have returned to the fore. The fact that many Portuguese and Spanish are migrating from their countries to Brazil due to the European crisis has contributed to this, after all, they bring the habits and influences to Brazil and Brazilians are very open to new cultures and traditions.

In addition, the Portuguese community from the previous century, living in Brazil, created great empires in the wine and gastronomic segment (high quality bakeries, renown emporiums, among others) and never left their roots and influences behind. So, yes I believe it is time for the Portuguese to take the stage, and hopefully stay for many years.

arinia P. de Moraes, diretora da Vivace Soluções, empresa especializada em criar estandes, cenografias e displays para eventos, conta que o principal pedido dos administradores da Global Aviation era que o espaço da Labace (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) fosse acolhedor e agradável para receber com toda a atenção e conforto os visitantes. A partir dessa ideia, a equipe de arquitetos e construtores criou o estande de 72 metros quadrados no térreo e 27 no mezanino, com salas de reuniões que permitirão maior privacidade para a realização de negócios. Os desafios foram muitos.

“Eles começam pelo local, que não foi criado especificamente para ser sede de um evento desse porte. Temos que ter não somente uma preocupação estética, mas principalmente estrutural, pois trata-se de uma montagem no tempo, sujeita a ventos fortes e chuvas e com um piso bastante irregular”, explica Varinia. Daí a importância de contratar uma empresa especializada e com equipes com conhecimento técnico específico da área.

A carteira de clientes da Vivace inclui as Fiat, VW Caminhões, Arcor, Embratel e Café 3Corações, entre outras.

“Nossa expertise é ser uma empresa que atende as necessidades dos clientes por meio de projetos especiais que criam diferencial perante a concorrência e permitem maior destaque nos eventos”, diz Varinia.

No caso do estande da Global, a diretora conta que a ideia era a de criar ambientes diferentes que possibilitassem desde um atendimento rápido até uma reunião informal. Na frente, um deck circundado por jardineiras e mesinhas podem receber até 16 clientes com todo o conforto. Dentro, mais quatro mesas para atendimento, balcão com bar e banquetas, lounge com sofás e ainda uma copa com pia e geladeira, além de depósito. No mezanino, as salas de reuniões com pisos em carpete azul serão uma boa opção para reuniões mais longas.

The company Vivace Solutions created the stand for Global Aviation at Labace, a friendly and pleasant area of 99 square meters

arinia P. de Moraes, the Director of Vivace Solutions, a company that specializes in creating stands, set designs and displays for events, says that the main request made by the directors of Global Aviation was that the area for Labace (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) be inviting and pleasant to receive visitors in comfort.

Based on this idea, the team of architects and builders created a stand with an area of 72 square meters on the ground floor and 27 on the mezzanine, with meeting rooms that enable greater privacy for conducting business.

There were many challenges. “They started with the location, which was not created specifically to host an event of this size.

We had to consider not only the esthetics, but more importantly, the structural questions, because it had to be assembled outside, affected by strong winds and rain and with a rather uneven floor, “explains Varinia .

Hence the importance of hiring a specialized company with teams with specific technical expertise in the area. Vivace´s client portfolio includes Fiat, VW Trucks, Arcor, Embratel and 3Corações Café, among others. “Our expertise is to be a company that meets the client’s needs through special projects that create differentials compared to the competition and offer greater prominence at events,” says Varinia.

In the case of Global’s stand, the director says that the idea was to create different environments that would provide areas to attend clients quickly, and also areas for informal meetings.

In front, a deck surrounded by plants and tables can accommodate up to 16 clients in comfort. Inside, there are four more tables, and a counter with bar stools, a lounge with sofas and even a kitchen with a sink and refrigerator, and also a storage space. On the mezzanine, the meeting rooms with blue carpeted floors are a good option for longer meetings.

como o ano passado, a expectativa é que tenhamos em torno de 190 expositores, mais ou menos 70 aeronaves expostas. Não dá para crescer mais devido à impossibilidade de ampliar a área de exposição.

Quais as principais novidades que a feira trará em termos de infraestrutura e de facilidades para expositores e visitantes?

Trabalhamos ano a ano para melhorar a infraestrutura do evento e driblar as dificuldades que o espaço no Aeroporto de Congonhas oferece, mas nossa preocupação é oferecer maior mobilidade para os visitantes entre os estandes e maior conforto para os expositores.

De 2010 para 2011, a frota nacional cresceu 6,4%, com 15% só no setor de jatos. Como está o mercado atualmente? Qual foi o crescimento de 2012?

O Anuário será lançado em agosto com esses dados atualizados, mas podemos adiantar que o crescimento em 2012 foi de 6,7%.

O Brasil está vivendo uma crise de infraestrutura aeroportuária. Como isso atinge a aviação executiva e quais as possíveis soluções?

Atinge bastante porque faltam investimentos para a aviação de maneira geral e as autoridades, desconhecendo a força da aviação geral para o país, optam por excluir as aeronaves da aviação geral dos principais aeroportos do país. Por isso, estamos

riada em 2003 pela Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (Abag), que representa fabricantes, importadores, operadores e empresas de manutenção, entre outros, a Labace (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) obtém, ano a ano, crescimentos significativos tanto em número de expositores e visitantes quanto em negócios realizados. Em 2012, o número de visitantes teve um crescimento de 10%, atingindo 16.722. Ricardo Nogueira, vice-presidente da Abag, conta sobre as expectativas e principais metas da associação, que lançou a campanha Aviação Geral Patrimônio Nacional, com o objetivo de mostrar a importância da aviação para o crescimento do Brasil. A Labace, que será realizada no Aeroporto de Congonhas entre os dias 14 e 16 de agosto, terá diversas atividades e palestras (programação completa no www.abag.org.br). Os ingressos para os três dias custam 300 reais.

Global Aviation Ano passado, vocês ficaram surpresos com o público que compareceu à feira. Qual é a expectativa para este ano?

Ricardo Nogueira Ficamos sim, mas de um modo geral a feira vem apresentando um aumento ano a ano no volume de visitantes. A edição do ano passado foi muito proveitosa, tivemos casa cheia durante os três dias e o que é mais importante: muitos negócios foram iniciados ou finalizados na Labace. Para este ano, a expectativa é termos mais uma vez algo em torno de 16 mil visitantes.

Vocês já divulgaram que grande parte do espaço para expositores já foi vendido. Já há uma previsão do número de participantes?

Labace is the second largest executive aviation fair in the world and this year it expects to surpass its record attendance of 2012

E

stablished in 2003 by the Brazilian Association of General Aviation (Abag), which represents manufacturers, importers, operators and maintenance companies, among others, each year, Labace (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) reports significant increases in both the number exhibitors and visitors and the business undertaken.

In 2012, the number of visitors increased by 10% reaching 16,722. Ricardo Nogueira, the vice president of Abag talks about the association’s expectations and main objectives, which launched the campaign General National Heritage, in order to demonstrate the importance of aviation to the growth of Brazil.

Labace, which will be held at Congonhas Airport between 14 and 16 August, will include several activities and lectures (the full schedule is available at www.abag.org.br). Tickets for all three days cost R$ 300. global aviation Last year, were you surprised by the number of public who attended the fair? What is the expectation for this year? ricardo nogueira We were, but in general, the number of visitors to the fair has increased every year. The event last year was very fruitful, we had a full house for three days and what is more important: many businesses began or were finalized at Labace. For this year, the expectation is that we will once again receive around 16,000 visitors.

You have already stated that much of the space for exhibitors has already been sold. Do you have a forecast of the number of participants expected?

So far, 90% of the space for displays has already been sold. Like last year, we expect to have around 190 exhibitors, and around 70 aircraft on display. It’s not possible to grow any more, given that we can’t expand the exhibition area.

What are the main changes that the fair will bring in terms of infrastructure and facilities for exhibitors and visitors?

We work every year to improve the infrastructure of the event and overcome the difficulties that the space at Congonhas Airport presents, but our concern is to provide greater mobility for visitors between the stands

A Abag tem uma atuação ativa para colaborar com melhorias gerais no setor, inclusive com a publicação de um anuário. Quais são os principais pontos em que a associação atua e quais são as principais cobranças em relação ao setor público?

São várias as frentes de ação de uma entidade como a Abag, que reúne fabricantes, importadores, operadores, empresas de manutenção, entre outros. Mas podemos dizer que a Abag trabalha para que a aviação geral possa continuar exercendo a função fundamental que tem hoje de levar empreendedores, transportar doentes e peças em um Brasil de 5.500 cidades, tendo apenas 130 servidas com voos regulares da aviação comercial. E luta também para que o mercado seja visto como importante do ponto de vista econômico e não preconceituosamente, como um artigo de luxo ou de uns poucos privilegiados. Ninguém investe milhões em uma aeronave para fazer sucesso entre os amigos, avião é ferramenta de trabalho.

From 2010 to 2011, the national fleet grew by 6.4%, with 15% in the jet sector. How is the market today? What was the growth in 2012?

The Yearbook will be released in August with updated data, but we can confirm that growth in 2012 was 6.7%.

Brazil is experiencing a crisis in airport infrastructure. How does this affect executive aviation, and what are the possible solutions?

It affects it significantly, because there is not enough investments in aviation in general and the authorities, who are not aware of the importance of general aviation to the country, decided to exclude general aviation aircraft from the major airports. Therefore, the third edition of the annual will include the economic profile of the industry, in order to inform decision makers of the importance of general aviation, a real national heritage that goes where commercial aviation has no interest in going.

Abag has an active role to collaborate with general improvements in the sector, including the publication of a yearbook. What are the main points in which the association operates and what are the main charges in relation to the public sector?

There are several areas where an entity such as Abag can act, since it brings together manufacturers, importers, operators, maintenance companies, among others. But we can say that Abag works to ensure that general aviation can continue to exercise the fundamental function that it has today, which is to transport entrepreneurs, transport the sick and parts in a Brazil that has 5,500 cities, with only 130 of these served by scheduled commercial flights.

And it also fights for the market to be seen as important from an economic point of view and not judgmentally as a luxury item or available to only a privileged few. Nobody invests millions in an aircraft just to be successful among friends; a plane is a tool for work purposes.

Hangar da Global no Campo de Marte oferece sala vip com várias facilidades, salas privadas e espaços para reuniões

A

impressão é de que você está fora do burburinho da cidade de São Paulo. Numa rua tranquila do Campo de Marte, em São Paulo, os clientes da Global Aviation encontram tudo o que precisam em termos de hangaragem ou fretagem de aeronaves. Na frente, o estacionamento protegido por grades acolhe os carros. A porta principal e um corredor à esquerda levam até a sala VIP, que tem cinco ambientes com bar, lounge theater, sala de espera, ciber e sala de reunião. E o melhor: paredes envidraçadas permitem visualizar o hangar, com capacidade para 30 aeronaves, enquanto os visitantes degustam os cafés preparados na hora, pães de queijo, broas e outros quitutes fresquinhos. “Alguns clientes também têm direito a salas privadas, dependendo do número de aeronaves”, explica Malu Mariotti, gerente do local.

São, na maioria, helicópteros. Alguns são da própria companhia e outros de clientes, que contratam o serviço de hangaragem. Trata-se do maior hangar do Campo de Marte, aeroporto que tem fácil acesso devido à proximidade com a Marginal Tietê e às amplas vias que circundam o local. Além de poder estacionar suas aeronaves e usar a sala VIP, os clientes que usam as salas privadas podem decorá-las de acordo com seu gosto e armazenar pertences. E tudo com a maior privacidade. “Nossos usuários apreciam muito a discrição”, destaca Malu.

Um dos que usam esse serviço é Genival Souza Santana, cinegrafista e proprietário da empresa Time News, que tem dois helicópteros hangarados com a Global e usa uma das salas do prédio. Ao lado do piloto Kauê Lima, ele faz voos frequentes para realizar trabalhos com suas aeronaves equipadas com as mais modernas câmeras de filmagem. “Os aparelhos que colocamos no helicóptero custam mais caro que o próprio veículo e

já vêm instalados da fábrica”, conta Genival. Ele controla a câmera full HD instalada embaixo da cabine com uma espécie de joystick e tem outro equipamento que transmite as imagens gravadas para um raio de até 70 quilômetros, ou seja, dá para exibir ao vivo os vídeos que ele registra lá do alto. Em meados de julho, Genival e Kauê já estavam na expectativa de registrar o Rally dos Sertões, realizado entre 25 de julho e 3 de agosto, e que também conta com o serviço aeromédico da Global Aviation.

Genival passou a deixar suas aeronaves no hangar da companhia há um ano, depois de ouvir elogios ao trabalho da Global. “Estava procurando uma empresa que pudesse nos atender de forma mais direcionada, que oferecesse um serviço mais customizado, de acordo com nossas necessidades”, diz. Satisfeito com a experiência, ele destaca a privacidade, o atendimento diferenciado e a excelente localização. he impression is that you are no longer in the hustle of the city of São Paulo. In a quiet street in Campo de Marte, São Paulo, Global Aviation’s customers can find everything they need in terms of hangar services or chartering aircraft.

In front, the parking lot protected by railings protects the cars. The main door and the corridor to the left lead to the VIP room, which has five areas with a bar, theater lounge, waiting room, meeting room and internet access. Even better: the glass walls enable you to view the hangar, which has capacity for 30 aircraft, while visitors enjoy fresh coffee, cheese breads, scones and other baked delicacies. “Some customers are also entitled to private rooms, depending on the number of aircraft,” said Malu Mariotti, the site manager.

The majority are helicopters. Some belong to the company itself and others to clients that contract hanger services. It is the largest hangar at Campo de Marte, the airport is easily accessible given its proximity to the Marginal Tietê highway and the wide avenues that access the site.

Besides being able to park your aircraft and use the VIP room, customers who use the private rooms can also decorate them according to their taste and also store their belongings. All with the utmost privacy. “Our users really appreciate discretion,” said Malu.

One of the clients that uses this service is Genival Souza Santana, a cameraman and owner of the company Time News, he has two helicopters parked with Global and uses one of the rooms in the building. With the pilot Kauê Lima, he makes frequent flights to undertake work with his aircraft equipped with the most modern cameras.

“The devices we put in the helicopter cost more than the vehicle itself and come installed from the factory,” says Genival. He controls the full HD camera installed under cabin with a kind of joystick and has other equipment that transmits the recorded images to a radius of up to 70 km, in other words, he can transmit live the videos that he records from above.

In mid-July, Genival and Kauê were already anticipating registering the Sertões Rally, held between July 25 and August 3, which also depends on the air medical service provided by Global Aviation.

Genival began to leave his aircraft in the company’s hangar a year ago, after hearing praises about the services offered by Global. “I was looking for a company that could meet our demands in a more directed manner, offering a more customized service according to our needs,” he says. He is satisfied with the experience, and emphasizes the privacy, differentiated services and excellent location.

Genival departs from the hanger at Campo de Marte to perform various types of work: his portfolio includes aerial images made for TV Globo’s soap operas, to scenes of video clips of Luan Santana, as well as records of radical sports competitions in wild places and also commercials.
