FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY Under ongoing oversight by a dedicated Board of Directors, Feed the Hunger (FtH) strives for financial excellence in our stewardship of the resources God entrusts to us through your gracious giving. Each and every year, our finances are reviewed by a third party independent public auditing firm. FtH has also been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1985. Demonstrating the positive financial commitment of this ministry, our expenses have consistently maintained the averages shown for the last five years. Our Financial Statements are available online at feedthehunger.org/about-us/financial-summary

A WORD FROM THE

CEO Dear Ministry Partners, What a year it has been! In 2019, Feed the Hunger primarily targeted three groups of people: at-risk children, those in need after a natural disaster, and ethnic groups unreached with the message of Jesus. The common denominator in all three of these groups is children. Whether we are providing spiritual or physical food, we are reaching out to those about whom Jesus proclaimed, “The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). We have sought to help raise up the next generation of children who might otherwise be left behind. We want to see them receive nutritious food and an education throughout childhood. But as you know, it’s more than a meal that Feed the Hunger is committed to providing. That’s why we also distributed age-appropriate Bibles to thousands of children and new believers in their native language. In the pages that follow, you will see the tremendous difference that your partnership has made. To God be the glory for what He has done through you! But the work is not done yet. We need your help. A child needs you. Be the difference. Serving with you,

Joseph Williams, CEO

WHY WE DO... On September 1, 2019, the islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco were decimated by hurricane Dorian. Through Feed the Hunger we have been able to provide meals for over 3,000 people displaced by the storm. You have not only impacted lives but you have inspired many people to follow your model of compassion toward those in need. – Pastor Kyle, The Bahamas

Before your support, teachers could not stay here due to lack of salaries. The school also had very few pupils. Now the national examination results have improved and the community is getting some hope since their children are learning and also getting spiritual nourishment. The support is changing the lives of both parents and pupils. – Charles Oloo, Nairobi Language Institute

Food from FtH is a powerful weapon against starvation and malnutrition, and supplements food we provide to pastors on the front line. You are making a difference in Venezuela! A police chief and pastor who works in the most dangerous part of Valencia believes the FtH food is from God. – Paul L., Venezuela

.WHAT WE DO Not only does Feed the Hunger provide nutritional meals, they are also committed to supporting local Christian leaders. It is truly a partnership and not a charity. Feed the Hunger dives into the hard places so that people know they are not forgotten or abandoned, but known and pursued by a loving God. – Angela, Mission Trip Traveler

My friends never allowed me to read the Bible. But I found my new friend from the Bible. His name is Jesus. Thank you Feed the Hunger for introducing me to my new friend. – Arham, Pakistan

We direct an equine ministry in eastern Kentucky, with 20 kids coming to the barn every week to learn about horses. Many of these kids will not hear the Good News at home and this is the perfect opportunity! We are extremely grateful to Feed the Hunger for sponsoring our Bible study in Ephesians. Thank you for feeding our lambs! – Leah & Drew, Stables at Creekside Glen 5

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING... That was so much fun, I could do that every day! We see the physical hunger that is going on in the world. By supporting monetarily and by participating in the packing event, we feel that we are helping children get their basic nutritional needs met.

This is the only activity at our church that every age can participate in together. There is a spiritual hunger that God has put in every person. We feel that this program is feeding that hunger by showing mercy from those who have the love of Christ in them. Through word and deed, Feed the Hunger and its partners show God’s love and mercy.

Being able to see the process and witness through video and testimony the impact of our support, we gain confidence that our work and dollars are being faithfully used to spread God’s Word and feed the physical hunger of children in need.

What do you think about God?

NOW

Life confronts us with many “big questions. Some of the biggest deal with God: Does He really exist? If He does exist, can that be proven? Can Jesus be the only path to God? Are You Right about God? is a 30-Day study that speaks both to Christians and to those skeptical of the faith. Our goal is to challenge you to evaluate your own beliefs using the Bible, observation, evidence, and reason.
