Ah Nyar Thu: From dry zone to Yangon Min Pyae Sone A Nyar Thu is a Burmese restaurant that inhabits cuisine from the central dry zone of Myanmar–sweet, mild and a teensy bit of extra oil. The owner, after the huge success of displaying his mother’s cooking a while ago, has brought Urban Asia with the various offices’ staff nearby a chance to taste a good homey meal with a very affordable price, just to make ‘em feel like home. With common toddy tree roofing areas like countryside landscapes, the restaurant features dishes from Clay Pork Stew to Burmese Prawn Curry with side dishes Chin Paung Kyaw (Fried Roselle), Ngapi (Fish Paste) and many more to pick. Price ranges start from 500 to 4,500 Kyats at the most, which is considered to be affordable for a lunch or even breakfast if you want to try the traditional Burmese dishes from dry zone of Myanmar. The restaurant is currently in its soft-opening phase, being open from 7 am in the morning to around 3 in the afternoon.
