Sports Communication Conference: Bold North Meets MSUM Comstock Memorial Union 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Featuring Super Bowl LII’s Andrea Mokros Vice President, Communications and Events for the Super Bowl Host Committee Andrea Mokros is helping to prepare one of the world’s pre-eminent sporting events in Bold North. Mokros is a former White House Special Assistant to the President and Director of Strategic Planning for the First Lady, and has executed events all around the world and the United States. More than 30 sports communication professionals will be speaking, including: Bob Mikkelson Recently inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame. President/founder of Winged Vision, Inc., provider of live aerial television coverage for more than 170 major sporting events including the PGA Tour. Six-time Emmy Award winner. Phil Hansen Former NFL Buffalo Bills player who played in three Super Bowls. Played for NDSU on two Division II National Championship teams. Color radio sports analyst for NDSU Bison football. Cory Hepola Emmy Award winning anchor and reporter for KARE 11, Minneapolis, the Super Bowl Channel.
