At the same time, she was a dancer on a touring Christian troupe, an award-winning choreographer and director for theatrical musicals and a private vocal coach. By age 27, she was unable to walk without assistance and had permanent loss of eyesight. Though dancing is a thing of the past, Jessica continues to teach voice lessons and has a thriving business thanks to her positive outlook and love of helping others succeed.
