The images you just have seen are part of our interviewees’ personal files. All this material is part of Museu da Pessoa´s collection, which includes 15 thousand life stories and 72 thousand digital pictures and photos. Our mission is to transform life stories in a source of connection and comprehension among people and nations. The Vida book is part of the celebrations for the International Day For Sharing Life Stories, and is a result of a partnership between Museu da Pessoa and the Center for Digital Storytelling, and celebrated every May 16th. The belief that a story can change the way one see the world and that memories must be shared are part of this work. Since it is our belief, volunteers that may want to translate this book to other languages or even participate in the memory mobilization network are welcome.
