Terminal security heightened

SECURITY at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) has been tightened to ensure safety during the holding of activities for the 86th Araw ng Dabaw activities and the upcoming Holy Week.

Usop said Monday that the terminal management has cooordinated with law enforcers to ensure the safety of passengers and other individuals at the facility.

"Ang kapulisan ginapatuyok-tuyok sa sulod ug sa gawas. Ang TFD nagaaugment sila pag ingon ani nga sitwasyon," Usop said aspected due to the events and the upcoming Holy Week.

She added that local travel to the city to witness the events during its founding anniversary, prompting the terminal management to map out plans to intensify security.

"Nagpatawag nako og meeting sa mga bus operation managers para sa Araw ng Dabaw nga dapat always ready gyud sila kung adunay pagdagsa sa mga pasahero," Usop said.

Fire hits building
